We came from Shawnee after hearing about it from a YouTube video. It was relatively close by and the video said it was the best place they went on Route 66 so we had to come by and try. The atmosphere was phenomenal, it definitely had that small town feel. We were quickly sat and our servers, Chloe and Lorah, were so kind. They were amazing and quick, cups were always full, they were so helpful. We had no clue what to get for dinner or dessert, but they were so kind and helped us decide. We both got Chicken Fried Steak and some Cheese Fries which was phenomenal. Seriously 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area or anyone taking a trip down Route 66. It’s a must stop!

The reuben sandwich and jagersnitzel were both delicious. The staff was very friendly and efficient while working under the lunch busy rush. The building atmosphere, rock architecture, and ties to the Route 66 era are all very visible. More too, several ties to the Pixar movie “Cars” are to be seen too.

A great location along the route that is part of the route 66 Oklahoma passport program too. They are very happy to stamp them for you.

Would definitely like to visit later in the day sometime in order to enjoy their neon signage but that will have to be another time. Until then, enjoy you stop there!

Cruising through and found accidentally. Neat little Café decorated around automobiles, Route 66, and Cars the movie. Very friendly staff, huge menus, and daily specials. Food was brought out promptly, looked and tasted delicious! Neat little Gift Shop to walk through also! We’ll definitely be back!

Fast, friendly service and a really cool Cars movie tribute on display. We tried the bison burger and the fried pickles both were great. It’s easy to find, right on the east side of Main Street in Stroud, Oklahoma.

Although it was super loud it was worth a stop to say we did it. Service was good, Parking and entrance were a bit hard to navigate, that was a huge draw back.

Route 66 stop back in time! Road trip stop to see some cool vintage neon signs and was told it was a must to go to the Rock Cafe! Definitely worth it! Fun atmosphere, good all American Route 66 perfect burgers and fries type of place and reasonably priced. Remember to sign their guest book so you can check out what other visitors said and get your kicks on Route 66!

The restaurant already has quite a lot of miles behind it. It was a pity that you can only eat inside, even when they have a couple of tables outside. But we could order “to go” and then we got our food served outside. The staff was very friendly and my Burger was excellent, maybe one of the best I had on Route 66.
I loved the place from the outside and would come back again for sure.
