I’ve only been coming to Rochester Corner Bar for about a month, but it’s already become one of my favorite spots. A big reason for that is Lauren, who is a manager here , but to my surprise tonight she was behind the bar and made me some good drinks like this old fashioned. Lauren has always been great at what she does—friendly, attentive, and she really knows how to take care of customers (TBH I do know her from before) She brings a great vibe to the place and makes everyone feel welcome.

We came here for their Super Bowl 60 party and it was fantastic. I’ve been to dozens of bar and casino Super Bowl events, and the selection included in their buffet package was easily among the best I’ve seen. Having all the non‑alcoholic beer included was a thoughtful touch and very appreciated.
Rosie, our server, was an absolute treat — we never went without anything. And the food… that really put it over the top. Most places serve second‑rate fare for events like this, but their pre‑game spread alone would have been impressive. The house‑made focaccia is a must‑try. The wings were incredible; we went back more than once for those.
We’ll definitely be coming back another night. A great find.

I enjoyed a wonderful evening with family on 1/27/26. Jake was our server. We kept him busy with 6 of us ladies. He was friendly, attentive, and did a great job keeping us happy. We all loved our food. I had the salmon bowl and would definitely order it again, it was delicious!

The food was so delicious! I have never had salmon that tasted so good unless I’m cooking it at home myself. They made it just the way I like it and the chili glaze on top was unreal. My friend and I both really liked all of the options, and that they had a lot of healthy choices along with the “cheat meals”. Kate is a great server and suggested both our entrees and they did not disappoint. This place is a major improvement from when it was Penny Black. The atmosphere is really cool, the food is great, the drinks are true craft cocktails, and the staff is fun. Apparently they have DJs late at night on Fridays and Saturdays, so we will for sure be back to check that out!

We had an amazing evening at the Corner Bar! Alexis was our waitress she was outstanding! We had a group of 8. We never waited for anything! Our drinks were quickly refilled the dinners came out perfect! Food was amazing but alexis was in charge and we had the best experience at the Corner bar because of her! Ty Alexis!

I ordered the lobster roll with truffle fries. It was the closest thing to Main that I’ve ever had here in Michigan. It was fantastic. The tall owner checked on me several times to make sure that everything was perfect. The ambience is incredible. This is a must stop if you’re ever in Rochester.

I got a chance to experience this bar and it was everything. The manager, Lauren, was polite and very helpful. The selection of drinks and beers was excellent. I didn’t eat, but the food that came out looked incredibly inviting. I will definitely be returning and would recommend this bar to everyone.

MARCO THE GM, Was Phenomenal Personable, very friendly, inviting and assertive to our needs and he cooked our pizza which was phenomenal quick service food came out unexpectedly fast and it was great totally satisfied plus the ambiance was esthetically pleasing & the bathrooms were clean which matters definitely comming back! Great guy, also the owner was intentional to ask us if we needed anything which I thought was very cool!

Terrible place to make a reservation for a larger party. Done AI ASSISTANT answers the phone so you can’t speak with a human! The online reservations won’t take a party of eight or more. And the AI assistant text you on email to contact the restaurant and you never hear back. Three weeks no one answered an email. I’m not against AI assistance, but someone needs to be manning the reservation line, it actually says something about your Thanksgiving dinner when you call clearly it hasn’t been updated. Then when I show up for the reservation that I’m not sure I even have they don’t have it. I was responsible for four couples, eight of us very embarrassing. We asked to see Chris the owner. He was there and just ignored our table. On the other hand, our server, Jake was absolutely wonderful. Probably won’t be going back.
