A local favorite with an excellent menu that delivers incredibly delicious food and very friendly service.
Had the filet of beef with Marsala wine sauce. Excellent!
Choose your favorite wine and you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely fabulous dinner here last night and we will definitely return again! The atmosphere was friendly. The food was fabulous and of course the company we went with was the best! The portions were large can’t say enough great things about this restaurant.

I am sorry to have to write this review as I know that Rocco’s is a local favorite and has had a number of set backs in the last couple of years, but I think it is only fair to share what was, one of the worst dinning experiences we have ever had, especially given the time and expense it takes to have a nice meal out. Granted it was New Years Eve, but the restaurant was no busier than it would be/should be on any given weekend. If anything, when we arrived there were several empty tables. We were seated right next to the buckets that the bussers very aggressively and loudly threw the dirty dishes. At one point that got so loud my husband had to leave the table and go outside to collect himself. It took 30 minutes to take our drink order and 30 minutes after that to get our drinks. One of the drinks arrived 30 minutes after everyone else’s. The waitress took orders for one side of our table and then just left. She did not come back until we flagged her down and asked if she was planning on taking the orders for the other side of the table. All, in all it took over an hour and a half to get our meals, and one of the meals never made it to the table. Those who did receive meals said that their food was “good for cafeteria food” I ordered the spicy penne pasta thinking surely they could not mess that up…I was wrong! It looked like and tasted like Chef Boyardee. The one person who never received her meal was there celebrating her birthday. Of course they did offer to make her meal to go and not charge her for it, and since I did not eat my meal, they did not charge me for it, but honestly does that really make up for how bad the overall experience was? In truth, there was really nothing they could have done to un-ring that bell, and in the end they have lost 8 customers. Our waitress was new, and I want to say that we are not laying the blame on her as management made the decision to put her in a no win situation, and no matter what her faults were it was not her fault that our food came out late, never came out and came out bad, and it is not her fault that our drinks took so long to get. With all of the other options locally and in close by neighboring cities I can see no reason to ever go back.

By far, the most amazing dinner I’ve had in ages.. Christmas Eve, crazy busy, I had the escargot, prime rib and a couple of martinis. The service was amazing… and they were slammed, and the food was out of this world! Even the mashed potatoes were over the top! No need for salt or pepper, everything was seasoned to perfection.. they even brought me a box to rest my feet on since I was at the bar, honestly, above and beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Show this place some love whenever you’re in town, you won’t regret it!

This is my second time coming to Roccos, and a few months since my first visit.

The first time I was at Roccos, I was the first customer of the day. Belle greeted my table and was just the SWEETEST girl I’ve ever met. Her service was actually impeccable and that’s hard to come across. We enjoyed escargot and pasta dishes which were so great.

The most recent time I was there was last week. They were absolutely slammed packed in the place (great sign!) and they truly were on top of everything. We ordered the escargot again because it is honestly phenomenal. Again, so flavorful and such a delicate dish. They really know how to make this dish specifically and the flavor is insane.
We ordered risotto aurora for our main course. It’s HUGE. my husband and I split and it was still a lot of food. The flavor in the risotto dish itself is explosive. The garnishing was spot on, and it was truly a burst of flavor in your mouth.

Let’s also not forget about the tres leches cake belles mama makes. I don’t even like dessert but my mouth waters for this. BEAUTIFULLY DONE. 10/10 grab a piece of this before you leave.

Great table service. The wait staff moves effortlessly and seems like they are all 100% on the same page. Being in the industry myself, we see restaurants that are missing out on this aspect of our dining experiences. Whatever they’re doing to coach their employees, we all need to take notes!

Belle & Rocco, you truly out did yourselves again. I cannot wait to come back and have the pleasure of dining with you guys.

Food is solid. Popular and busy place. The front of house is run loudly and with force. Go along for the ride or there’s friction. Oddly poured our wine away from the table. How do I know it’s the bottle I bought.

Great food and service. The paella and scallops wrapped in bacon were delicious. The tiramisu was a great ending to a wonderful experience.

We ordered an arugula salad, escargot, the seafood pasta, and the risotto aurora. All of the food was great and reasonably priced. The salad was very fresh and the escargot was delish! Nice people.

I was visiting friends in San Clemente, and they took me to Rocco’s. They had eaten there before and told me how great it was. We had reservations for 6:30 on a Saturday night. We arrived and the place was empty. Heather, our waitress was awesome. We had our pick of tables. I was concerned about the empty tables. Heather informed us that the owner Rocco had passed away, and I guess he was the draw. It was a sad story. However, the menu and the chefs hadn’t changed. The menu was great and the food was excellent. It would be a shame to lose a great place like Roccos.
Try the risotto. Thanks, Heather. We left about 8, and there were a few more people there. Maybe it just needs some better marketing?

Wow.
It’s one thing to eat great food. It’s totally nother to eat great food and have GREAT SERVICE.
This place is special.
Our server Paco Blito was excellent. Constantly checking in on us and sharing stories and quick anecdotes while still bouncing around front table to bar checking in on everyone’s happiness.
It made the place feel like home. Even though we’d never been before.

We drank the Jalapeño Margherita, and the raspberry lemon drop.

We ate the escargot and the burrata first. Both were exceptional.

And THEN we had the Salmon Linguini, which my boyfriend adored, and I ate the Pasta e Vongole (clams) with red sauce.

Man OH MAN.
I was sleepy from being at the beach all day when we walked in, and I woke up real quick when I started eating the pasta. It filled my mouth with the sweet and salty flavors of home (italy) and the sea.

The portions are huge. And I took some leftovers home. My red vongole pasta was JUST as good the next day if not even better.

I tell ya.

This place is hard to beat.

Even their concept is cool. Latin European fusion.

I should know. I’m Cuban Italian.
And I APPROVE.

GO!
