Rocco’s is one of those places you go to for the atmosphere and friendly staff. If you want to feel like you’re in a Notre Dame pizzeria, sure. That aside, however, and in a very objective sense, coming someone who doesn’t have a high expectation for pizza, the Rocco’s pizza is unfortunately of poor quality. This has been consistent across the few times I have visited. The base is overcooked, is too thick, and the toppings are neither plentiful or of great quality.

I like this and the wait wasn’t too long. We ordered pizza and it was not bad. The only thing we didn’t like was that the pizza was a bit too thin, and also that the topping completely fell off at the end of finishing the food. The ingredients were definitely of quality. We also order the ice cream something, and it topped the service off. I would say if you like light pizza this is definitely the place for you.

Got Rocco’s Pizza to go and it did not disappoint! The pizza was fresh and packed with flavor. The crust was perfectly cooked (not too thick and not too thin) and everything traveled really well. It tasted amazing at home and even reheated nicely. Definitely a go-to spot for great pizza!

There’s a reason Rocco’s has been in business since 1951…. Quality, value, service! Supreme pizza, Margarita Pizza and lasagna all amazing. Something special about the house Italian dressing on the side salad turns iceberg lettuce into something special. Our server Danielle was the best!

My partner and I enjoy trying local pizzerias around town and Rocco’s is the best pizza we’ve had in South Bend! The pizza was flavorful and had the perfect crisp, as we prefer our pizza to be crispy.
The service was excellent from the moment we entered the place. As soon as we walked inside, we were greeted by the host, he took our name down, and gave us a 15-20 minute wait during their busy hour. A kind lady seated us and we had an amazing waitress. She was kind, immediately took our drink orders, and placed our food order within a timely manner. Our pizza did take a while because something occurred during the process, so they were going to remake it and the waitress gave us some delicious cheese bread and marinara sauce “on them” to make up for that. The wait was totally worth it, the prices are reasonable, the experience overall is amazing.
It is not common to get good customer service and quality food nowadays, so coming here and experiencing their customer service was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.
We will definitely continue to support Rocco’s and enjoy their delicious pizza!

I INSTANTLY felt like I had returned home when I stepped in – the owner, Warren, and his lovely family deserve every bit of success they get! There were families laughing, hugging and kissing each other, and having a ball of a time!
The food is so nice, amazing portion sizes, and is very rustic and healthy – the pizza tastes just like we are in Italy, and it doesn’t make me feel unhealthy like in Dominoes etc

Authentic food, nice atmosphere and reasonable priced. I had the meatball sandwich and my wife had the mostaccioli with meatballs, both were very good. Give it a try, you won’t regret your decision.

Long time staple in the South Bend area. Great pizza and high energy servers. Attention to details like refilling drinks when empty checking on how things are going and great at keeping the waitlist moving. Pizza had great texture even with toppings with no flop. Fresh cheese and sauce was very tasty. A recommendation from an alumni which turned out to be the dining experience of our trip.
