Stopped in for a quick meal here with a friend tonight. We got the Deconstructed Nachos and a flatbread to share. Her cocktail and my mocktail were pretty tasty. The Nachos were really good. The ribeye with chimichurri and additional accompaniments worked very well together. I just feel like there weren’t enough “wet” toppings (cheese sauce, guac, pico) for the amount of chips available. It’s better to have to ask for more chips than more toppings. Not sure if that makes sense to anyone else. The flatbread was okay. I loved the toppings but the bread/crust was much too tough. Our server, Drew, was very attentive and easy to talk to. Would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu. The flavors are definitely there. Just some minor things with the food.

The drinks were all fantastic.
The Pig & Fig Manhattan was fantastic with Bacon Fat Washed Bourbon, sweet vermouth, and house bitters. Excellent start.
She got the smoked margarita which was really cool and smoky. Don Julio Blanco, lime, Cointreau, Agave, and Apple-Wood Smole. Very decadent.
After the show we got:
The Polar Express O with Diplomatico Rum, Sweetened Condensed Milk, coffee topped with cold foam, and grated chocolate. Very boozy and strong. Didn’t look very good in the glass, but tasted ok. Very strong.
She choose the Cold Brew Martini and it was excellent with Ketel One Vodka, Averna Amaro, Madagascar Vanilla Bean Simple Syrup, and House Cold Brew Coffee.
The service was great. Will be back for more drinks.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. We ordered brussel sprouts, spinach & artichoke dip, the fondue, and cheeseburger sliders. It was all amazing! Our server did a great job. Highly recommend!!

Great location if you wanna stop at a nice place before you head to any downtown events! I tried the smoked margarita wow that was good and the charcuterie board was very well. Set up and high-quality variety. The service was great. I will be back.

This is hands-down my favorite restaurant in Des Moines, and I’ve lived in the area nearly my whole life. The food is consistently outstanding, and I love ordering small plates so I can sample a wide variety of their dishes. I think there’s something for everyone here, even the picky eaters! The decor is upscale and stylish, and the downtown atmosphere makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. I don’t get to visit often since it’s more of an elevated dining spot, but every time I go, it feels special, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Went out on a date on a Monday with my husband. We were seated immediately and our server Raymond was very attentive and one of the best servers I have had. The food was amazing. If you like goat cheese try the Stuffed Peppers. The sauce and the arugula was amazing in one bite. I got the one pan Salmon. The risotto was perfect. Creamy not grainy or half done as other places I have been to. The lemon sauce was not overpowering and the spinach and tomatoes with the salmon was just the best. The chef definitely knows what they are doing. I can’t wait to come back and try something else on their menu.

I reserved their lower room for a 20 person dinner and the experience start to finish was amazing. I worked with Drew getting the reservation and menu set and they were so helpful with all the details. Lillian was our server day off and wow she handled our big group beautifully, our guests commented several times on her hospitality. The food is always amazing here and several steaks were ordered that night and all came out perfect. Will definitely use this space again for larger group parties!

Not an inexpensive restaurant by any means but I do have to say the quality of the food was very good. Our group ordered mostly appetizers to pass around. The apps were between 15-20.00 each.
My only negative would be the serving portions were very small on the appetizers considering the price. For example one appetizers was stuffed peppers, the peppers were very small almost the size of a grape tomato and there were only 7-8 small peppers.
They had a large drink selection and the drinks were great.
