We made reservations for a Saturday night and we’re seated right away. This was my first time here and it was so cozy. Loved that we got a seat byvthe fireplace. Our sever Amanda was such a sweetheart. Always checking to see if we needed anything and didn’t rush us out. The food was absolutely delicious ftom the appetizers, to main course & drinks. Loved this place.

The food here is so good every time. We are pescatarians and this place does not skimp out on the quality of their vegetarian and seafood dishes. The pasta with broccolini is like a more upscale comfort dish and the coconut shrimp is perfect! We have eaten here a handful of times. The hostess always seems like she does not want to be there but is not explicitly rude, she just does not greet customers. We had a bad experience with the same waitress a few times, she is way too intense and stares at you with crazy wide eyes. It’s always uncomfortable and I dread her checking in on us. She talks to all customers with the voice inflection you do when you speak to babies. Its absurd. The hostess and the waitress could swap jobs. But the food makes us come back.

Got the Bang Bang shrimp, and the crab cake; absolutely delicious and tasty. For the main course I got a chicken carbonara, and my wife got the Scallops. Fresh ingredients, creamy sauce, almost licked it clean. Can’t wait to come back

I am a very picky eater and this is by far my favorite restaurant, the food and service is amazing. Krystal is the sweetest waitress so kind, energetic, patient and attentive, we request her every time we come or hope for her. I will continue to come here always and on top of that the food is unbelievable, especially the spicy shrimp appetizer and the bourbon chicken pasta!!

Great spot! We sat at the bar, but if you want a table, I suggest reservations. We ordered the Shishido peppers, calamari, Caesar salad, and the cod entrée. Everything was delicious and flavorful. Medium size portions, the bartender was busy and it was crowded, so needed some patience since he was working by himself, but we had a great time. It seems like a lot of locals go here and b/c it was busy on a Wednesday afternoon, so it seems very popular.

It has a very slim menu…

The coconut shrimp and truffle fries were really good!

The pork chop with blueberry chutney was excellent, very moist & juicy.

The crispy skin salmon had really crunchy skin over tender and moist flesh.

The bourbon chicken pasta was sweet and nice.

The short rib grilled cheese special was amazing!

The drinks were a lot of fun, a little pricey.

It’s only three stars because the service was not great.

Kristal was our wonderful and gracious server whom we now love! The whole experience was rewarding and at the appropriate rice point. Well made drinks and a varity of wine and beer available. On a cold day, the gas fireplace creates a perfect setting for dinner. My ny strip was perfect with the additional grilled asparagus to compliment the main dish. My partner had the snapper. We mentioned that it was our anniversary and we were surprised when kristal brought over a complimentary serving of champagne for us. Roc Olive is a must for anyone and everyone!

Parking can be good if you are not eating at a busy time especially during summer months. Waited for a hostess for a few minutes when you first walk in near the bar but I’m sure that is not all the time. It’s a comfortable place and no loud music so you can actually have a conversation with each other.
Service was super friendly and attentive (5 star for the waitress staff).
As for food , the menu is very selective. Taste it about 3 star. The stuffed pretzel with brie cheese and a side dip of fig was OK/good. Figs made it a bit sweeter which helps balance the flavor. The house chopped salad was good and bacon can be put on the side if needed. The garlic mashed potatoes needed garlic and salt added. The red snapper with yellow basmati rice, sautéed spinach, with coconut lemongrass sauce was not something I would order. I questioned if it was red snapper. The coconut lemongrass has a distinctive taste and did not go well with the fish. Tried adding salt to help with the flavor but it didnt help. This was disappointing to say the lease. Not sure I would go back.

The food was VERY good but the server, Jacquelyn R was nasty from the start and did not accommodate allergies. She wouldn’t give me cauliflower crust if it wasn’t an allergy (it’s an intolerance so she agreed) and said it could be made with no cheese (as I’m allergic) then later told us the cheese was already melted on so I had to basically choose to eat either gluten crust or dairy. I decided not to get the flatbread at all and got dirty looks all throughout. She made her visits to the table as brief as possible, barely giving us a chance to respond and dropped the check without even asking if we wanted to order anything else. The table was not cleaned between courses which isn’t a huge deal but our dessert was served next to a pile of rice. Again, it’s a good thing the food was great. Worth it for take out.

Love Roc & Olive. Always amazing food and nice place to dine. Been coming here since it opened. But for the first time, the service was a bit underwhelming. Didn’t clear our table, getting drinks was troublesome and bartender had a bit of an attitude. But the food made up for it.
