Rob’s Kitchen is hands down my new favorite spot! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, welcoming and full of good energy. The food, service, and ambience were all exceptional.
The oxtails was fall-off-the-bone tender, rich, and packed with flavor and the jerk chicken was perfectly juicy with just the right amount of heat. But let me talk about that rasta pasta—creamy, decadent, spicy, and coated in the most amazing Alfredo sauce . Every bite was a hit!

I ordered food through the “Too Good To Go” App. The meal “Surprise” was far better than I’d expected. I received collard greens, 3 fried chicken wings and candied sweet potatoes. The food was delicious and the quantity was surprising. My meal through the app was less than $7.00. I also ordered beef patties. They were delicious too. When I saw all of the people ordering, I new I’d hit the jackpot. Robs is the place to go!

So today I came into the restaurant at 3:15 PM. I wanted to get oxtails and they told me they ran out and they wouldn’t have some until an hour. so I left and came back at 4:17 PM and they told me they needed another hour mind you I went home and my aunt wanted to get some oxtails so she ordered some for us at 5:45 PM. She was already washing clothes nearby. No lie the food didn’t get done until 8:57 PM. Never again! Ordered today 01/31/26. I have ordered from this place before and the food was good, but not good enough to wait hours!
Update** Got my food from my aunt and the only thing that was really good today was the potato salad. The oxtails were rushed and not tender,the cabbage was literally mush and the rice and peas were definitely left overs. This is very disappointing especially after waiting for hours.

Rob’s food didn’t disappoint. I’ve been a customer since the Rumor Bar days. Happy that he got a restaurant. Even more happy that wait times have cut down tremendous! I got the oxtails with rice/peas and Mac and cheese. omg I just had flashbacks!

We’re on our little honeymoon and we were driving saw this little diner and I said there’s our something different than our usual foods. And there Mac and cheese moist, cheesy, buttery flavor and there chicken had good seasonings and good pieces were given. Not long wait and staff friendly

This place is really nice, I was driving by and just saw this spot. The young man taking orders was very pleasant and offered a sample of their delicious soup. I ordered a small to take home and I regret not getting the extra large. I also tried the escovitch red snapper fish and it was well seasoned and tasty. I hope to return to try other dishes especially since the space is beautiful with lots of parking.

Really frustrating experience. I ordered takeout at 12:02 PM, literally two minutes after they opened, and still waited over an hour to get my food ,1:03pm to be exact. There wasn’t even a rush yet, so I’m not sure what caused such a long delay.
Waiting that long for takeout just isn’t reasonable. If you’re on a schedule or grabbing something quick, I wouldn’t count on it. Food was decent, but the wait time ruined it for me.
No appearance from the manager apologizing, offering a discount, or notifying customers ahead of time the wait would be significant. This place has lost my business and referrals.

I waited over an hour for the food I ordered, and when I asked how much longer it would take, I was told another 20 minutes. The customer service was very poor, and I was extremely disappointed. I genuinely wanted to support a fellow Jamaican business, but this experience fell far short of expectations. 0/5 rating. The area deserves much better service.

This is my experience and my last. I ordered the stew chicken platter and I have never tasted bland Jamaican food in my life.
Everything had no flavor nor taste.
From the cabbage(that I waited over 20 minutes for them to prepare) , to the extra large serving of rice, and finally the stew chicken; which, tasted more like a mix of BBQ and browning seasoning.

I need you to go get this food asap. Had the Jerk chicken in the past, and Curry goat today. Both met my expectation and exceeded them. Food was fresh, plentiful for the price, and well made. The order process took all of 15 minutes including paying for it and leaving. Customer service was friendly, and I will be back. It’s the best in the area in my opinion as a fellow WI.
