I really enjoyed my visit to Roble Viejo Mexican Grill overall. The food was delicious and full of flavor — you can tell they put care into their dishes. Everything we ordered came out hot and fresh, and the portions were generous for the price.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the service and a small mix-up with my order. When we first sat down, it took about 15 minutes before anyone came over to take our drink order. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it did make the start of the meal feel a bit slow.
I also asked specifically about what was in the taquitos, and was told they didn’t have anything in them. Unfortunately, they did contain peppers and onions, which I can’t have. It wasn’t the end of the world, but it did affect my experience a little since I was trying to avoid those ingredients.
Other than that, everything else was great. The atmosphere was nice, the food itself was very good, and I’d still recommend giving this place a try. With slightly faster service and clearer communication about menu ingredients, this could easily be a 5-star spot.

Came across this Mexican Restaurant in Jefferson City. The refried beans were the best I have eaten. They start you out with a bowl of the refried beans (which was different from most places) along with the chips and salsa. Service was excellent and the prices were great. I recommend the enchiladas. Will definitely be back.

Ordered over 49 dollars of food and it was the worst. Not hot. Half a thing of salsa like they ran out got 4 tacos with no sauce like what the hell you expect me to eat it dry. Definitely not worth the money. El sazon is by far way better and they give you your moneys worth. Extremely disappointing!!!

Ive been back several times! Always great service and food! Fabulous meal! I had the enchilladas and chimichungas. They were both full of distinct flavor and different from each other. The vegetables were fresh and amazing! Meat good, even the beans and rice were amazing. Portion sizes huge! We will be back and are so excited to try more on their huve menu selection!

Nice new restaurant with outside seating. Great friendly staff and delicious Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices. We had a #11 taco, burrito and enchilada…a #10 2 beef tacos w/ rice & beans….a chicken fajita quesadilla (this is very good). Good prices on draft beer as well.
6-10-25: first to go order did not disappoint. I had a mushroom quesadilla with rice and cream salad…the quesadilla was excellent as was the rice, not a huge fan of the salad. My wife had the chicken fajita quesadilla again she said it was better in restaurant as the juices from the filling made it watery/soggy in the amount of time it took to get home. Still said it was good
8-11-25 the burrito deluxe was awesome, one chicken & one beef burrito was so much food on top of the chips and salsa/beans and caso free appetizers. This place is simply awesome with such great people.
8-20-25: we’ve eaten so many meals here, prices are great and we haven’t had an even mediocre meal yet!! Added more pics

Service was slow, once we finally got our food, they didn’t give us silverware. My food was cold, my daughters Tortillas were cold, the chicken was tough and my granddaughters nachos were sad looking and had hardly any cheese on them. Their water was clearly just tap water with a little ice in it and after drinking from the glass we realized the glass was dirty. I sent almost all of my meal back because it all tasted the same. No distinction between the burrito and enchilada. They did remove my food off of the check. But once we received the check it was clearly wrong and after two changes I just gave up. We definitely will not go back.

Good service, good food with fair prices. Something for everyone whether you like authentic or more tex mex style options. My girlfriend loved her taco salad and my buche and cachetes tacos were probably the best I’ve ever had and came with an awesome dark hot sauce. 5/5 stars

I’ll start by saying the food alone is enough for me to come back to this restaurant. The taquitos my partner ordered were amazing, and the food I ordered was delicious. The chips , beans and cheese, and the salsa they bring you when you are seated was delicious as well. The atmosphere is very clean and inviting, you could tell a lot of money was spent making this place look great! Now to the bad part… the service. The staff are super friendly, however, service was slow to start out. This could be due to short staffing, but we sat for a good 10-15 mins before being able to place our food order. This was with the restaurant not busy at all. Other than this issue, everything else was great and can’t wait to give it another chance.

The service was wonderful, fast and efficient food was amazing. The stuff that they bring out initially was good, except for the tomato sauce, tomato stuff, it did not taste right to me, but everything else. The surface, the atmosphere, everything I one out of 1010 teams being the best. I give it a 10 all the way around. And the prices are very reasonable. For what you get.
