Always love coming to this place when in town. Beautifully located on the river and nice cold beer. Yes, you can get cold beer anywhere, but you can’t get friendly service just anywhere. Stop in and see Tasha and ask about her candles!

If you want to know the French Islanders, Robins Nest is practically the best way.

“Nest” is really the best way to put it, because they’re all there on weekends.

From pro pool players, business owners, veterans, for a young person (as of 8/08/2025) I have seen the glimpse of what the retired life is like.

They might be old, but they’re fun and nice people, and I like that!

We didn’t order anything to eat this time when we were there. The bar wasn’t “packed” by any means but had a good amount of people there for being a Tuesday evening. We had 3 drinks and it was a different bartender working this time thank God. He was good at his job, very attentive and on top of things. I’m not sure what his name , probably in his late 20s or early 30s. The last review I had mentioned we were not impressed with the bartender at all! The Robin’s Nest has always been a great place to be and good food. Unfortunately it just takes one bad seed to not be able to enjoy your time at an establishment.

Always a great time. Rick and Kevin are awesome. Super good drinks with fast service. Always going to have live music with plenty of room for dancing. Play pool, shoot darts or even Golden Tee golf, with free popcorn to boot. Plenty of seats with a menu.

If your not from the area this is the place to go. The employees and the locals will treat you like their your neighbors. I didn’t try the food so I couldn’t judge that.

We came here by boat from the Mississippi on a Saturday for supper. We had a labrador and a 3 year old with us. The looks we got from other patrons bringing our son inside to use the restroom were a little over the top. (I get that it was a Saturday night at a bar, but it was about 6:30PM so I didn’t think it was that late yet. Just know that it is not really a kid friendly place.) The staff was super friendly and working their butts off to serve everyone. We sat on the patio since we had our dog with us. The only downfall is that the patio is also for the smokers and I wasn’t a huge fan sitting there with my child and people smoking, but we sat in a corner and most people were considerate of where they were smoking. Overall great experience, we’ll definitely be back. And the bill we got at the end was super cheap considering all the food and drinks we had ordered.
