Newer place in town taking over for the acropolis diner. I liked the vibe in here. It is affordable homemade breakfast classics. I tried the pancakes and they were spot on. The turkey club was done right. The onion rings also hit. The omelettes were hefty and good. They have a good amount of seating so you should find a spot and they have a parking lot. Check it out.

This restaurant took over the Acropolis Cafe Restaurant. It’s a new business that serves breakfast and lunch just as the previous restaurant did. Service was great, you can tell the staff works together to help each other out. Several of the waitresses checked on us and ensured we were doing okay despite the fact they were super busy. There was already a bit of wait, so I’m sure come summer time they will be super busy and the wait will be even longer. Prices are reasonable, and they accommodate diet restrictions. They also have turkey bacon as an option.

We were regulars here when it was the Acropolis and we are happy to see that jus about everyone is back at the new place! Robin made the new place her own with a cute and bright decor and sunshine coming through the windows. We have always raved about the service these ladies give you and happy to see them again. A mention about the food, we ate breakfast food last Saturday, The hungry man for Rich and blueberry pancakes for me and both were terrific. The next day we both ordered burgers, a California burger and a regular cheese burger and I told Doreen and Michelle (two of the best waitresses) that they were both absolutely fantastic! The fries too were really good and deserve a mention. Glad to be back to our favorite stop in the morning and to see the same smiling faces.

The Acropolis was my go to place for breakfast now it’s the Robbins Nest. New owners did right by the old employees and brought them back. Food is still good service is Excellent and Personable!! If you’re in Belmar there are many places to eat but the Robins Nest is like eating with family and friends.
