I hired this place as a professional chef for my daughter’s birthday party and unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Several dishes were poorly seasoned and not what I was expecting. Many guests did not touch the food. It was so embarrassing that most of my guests were from out of State and were professional chefs. The yams were overcooked (canned yams with sugar added). The corn was bland. The chicken was poorly seasoned and cold. The macaroni and cheese was runny and undercooked. This did not match my expectations of what I ordered. The price I paid I expected far better quality and service. This is unacceptable. The food looked nothing like it did online. There should be a zero review.

Best soul food I’ve found in the Knoxville area. I don’t like cabbage but tried it and fell in love. I had a little bit of this and that. (Fried okra, catfish, hush puppies, cabbage, cole slaw, spaghetti, and some toast)

The food was well seasoned and the ladies were friendly. They’re new, so have a little patience. The pulled pork (I got bun on side) was tender and full of flavor. My dad enjoyed the coleslaw and he’s hard to please. My gran tore up the chicken wings and ate a little of each side. Mac n cheese was nice and cheesy.

We are in town visiting. I stumbled across Robie’s when searching for somewhere to eat. Let me tell you, this place is GOOD!!! My husband got the catfish and okra. He couldn’t stop raving about both. I got the pulled pork and Mac &cheese. I don’t even like Mac & cheese, but so many people raved about it I had to try it. It was wonderful. The portions are huge, and we both have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. The people were kind and hospitable. When we told them we were considering moving here, they started to give us the lay of the land. We’ll definitely be back before we leave. And if we move it, Robie’s will be in our list of regular spots to eat.

It’s about time Clinton got a restaurant worth eating at. I’m sick of taking folks to Knoxville to get a good meal. I got the pulled pork BBQ, cabbage, and mac and cheese. The pork is melt in your mouth tender. I’m ordering the Mac n cheese for the holidays and passing it off as my own. The cabbage is perfectly seasoned, so I’m definitely trying their catfish and chicken next.

Clinton, TN! Please support this new restaurant. I got fried chicken, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and the best corn bread. Folks, I truly loved everything. The chicken was seasoned great and made to order. Sides were so good, I now want a plate of sides so I can try more of them. Go here and give them a try. The ladies here were amazing. Mostly a take out establishment; however, there are a few tables.

Probably the best Mac and cheese I have ever eaten in my life, 2 days later and I am still thinking about the Mac and cheese. Just wow, consistency and the taste of it is absolutely perfect.. I think you have perfected Mac and cheese. Anyhow, the pork ribs were well seasoned and coated in their sauce, perfectly cooked and tasted amazing.
I’m not usually one to eat beans, find them boring at most other places but this restaurant does not let down! The beans were so good, portions were great for the price and that potato salad, absolutely delicious.
To top everything off, the people who run this place are so kind and awesome. Don’t let that recent one star review stop you from eating here, unfortunately it’s a real thing that happens in this industry especially a place with this good of food, running out of certain items on the menu can happen anywhere. Good thing is that everything on their menu is cooked to perfection and with love.
If you do come and try it, make sure you try their Mac and cheese! Thank you for the experience and I will be back for sure.

I am super pleased!! The food is homemade from scratch, after you order, and it is AMAZING!! I told them to serve me whatever they wanted to make me. I have Lambchops with fried okra, potato salad, and macaroni and cheese. It is FRESH, HOT(warm), and PHENOMENAL!!!
