They just opened up in January and I heard good things about it. I am one to try it out before I give it my review. When I walk in I was not sure what to expect, I felt I was under dressed, polo shirt and jeans, they assured me I was fine. There were others in sandals shorts and polo shirt. You can make it what you want. I ordered two pounds of crawfish, it was amazing and I finished it all. I am going back for more. My wife got the pork chop and it was also amazing. I am returning with friends and family from now on. Can’t wait to go back. Karica took care of us, always attentive and she went beyond her duties to make sure were were happy.

We called ahead and made reservations for dinner, and were immediately seated on our arrival. We started with the stuffed mushrooms which were great. Then we had a delicious shrimp dish and added the seafood cake. The flavors were great, the plating was on point, and it was the perfect portion for us. We finished the meal with the berry creme brulee, which was also delish! Service was good throughout. Definitely will be back!

Music could’ve been a little louder. Walked in, and it was quiet. I could hear the table next to me conversation very clearly. The food was good. I had the blackened catfish, and it was good. The rice was good along with the coleslaw. Chicken fried steak was good as well. The food was hot and flavorful.

After enjoying Houston food for many years, we were resigned to a paucity of high-quality dining near Canyon Lake. Robert’s changes that. We ordered chicken fried steak and shrimp and jalapeno grits. For dessert we had bread pudding and biegnets.
Both meals were excellent. My wife humorously observed that the rumors are true: the food moved her. We happily noted that each item on our plates complimented all other items.

Tonight my wife and I ate at Robert’s for the second time since they opened and have had an outstanding experience both times. The staff is friendly and courteous at all times and attentive to all your needs. I like that they serve a local Texas brewer’s beer on tap and change up the food specials all the time. Finally, I should talk about the food because it is worth talking about. I am a food guy and go out of my way to find good, local places to eat wherever I am traveling. When I heard we were getting a Southern and Creole restaurant right down the road from the house I was excited. Again, Robert’s didn’t disappoint. Tonight u had a special and my wife had the Cajun pasta. Both were fabulous. If you are close to Canyon Lake and want something good to eat, this is where you want to stop.

Was excited to try this place. Has an amazing menu and in a great location. Outdoor seating is not set up yet. Indoor seating has an upscale feel. Great beer menu. Pricey. Beignets were unfortunately very doughy, somehow simultaneously undercooked inside and too crispy outside. Gumbo came out lukewarm and the alligator/seafood burger just had a cafeteria sort of taste. Would probably try again in a few months.

Very disappointed no cocktail bar Cajun seafood pasta was way too spicy couldn’t eat it and told the waitress but she didn’t offer to take it off the bill or any discount. Chicken pasta was just ok not a wow. Pastry app was ok. nothing with it all but 4 small rolls and a spoonful of butter barely enough to butter ur bread, won’t be back

Great meal. We had the boudain balls, chicken fried steak, and southwest pasta. I wouldn’t recommend our appetizer, but everything else was great. We’ll definitely go again to try more options. I wish I could have given 4.5 stars. And service was great!

Incredibly impressed by this restaurant! We pulled into the empty parking lot and nearly left, but so glad we didn’t!
The food was amazing- excellent flavors, great presentation and every dish was unique.
The staff was also incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Dana took very good care of us and gave the perfect recommendations.
