This is the second Christmas in a row that we were very disappointed. It has been our tradition for 20 some yrs to eat at Roberts buffet on Christmas. They used to have several options for vegetarians like salmon on the salad bar and shrimp. The only fish was parmesan salmon..terrible and fried catfish. There was cranberry stuffing which had promise but was cold. The rolls on the salad bar were so hard you couldn’t bite into them and soup was room temp. We did have an awesome server and of course the desserts are always awesome. I just feel like for the price we will choose Ruthies next year.

We were there for their Sunday breakfast buffet. It’s from 7am-10am & we ate about 8:45, 9am? It wasn’t bad per se, but my ham, bacon & sausage weren’t hot.
We do love how friendly and helpful the host and manager are though. They are truly wonderful!!
They do offer a good variety with the ability to request cooked to order eggs, including omelets. There are pancakes, waffles, biscuits & gravy and a few different pastries. I am a big fan of the fresh fruit – strawberries, melon, pineapple, grapes – that I like to add to the vanilla or strawberry yogurt with some granola to make my own parfait! You make your own fresh toast and they even offer cream of wheat & oatmeal with raisins as a topping.
Drinks are unlimited including white milk, chocolate milk, orange juice and coffee. However, the servers are not always the best at bringing refills. Some of that might be due to staffing shortages and they do at least come in nice large glasses! The orange juice is served in a bit smaller glass.
Overall, we like this buffet day & time best. It’s not something we do often, but it is nice once in awhile. The service from their host & manager help keep us coming back!

Went to the buffet today and my group was first in line, we weren’t all paying together but the manager idella refused to service us and took of the people that came behind us even though my brother in law went to her register she refused him to help the people BEHIND us who came after. Even when I told her that was rude she laughed. Awful etiquette of a so called manager. Very disappointed in this lack of service.

Had a great experience with the buffet for a Sunday brunch. Every station was well put together and seemed clean. Friendly staff. The food was good especially the prime rib which was cooked perfectly! Buffets are not for everyone since some have to complain about everything but we thought it was good. Would recommend and try again.

Had the seafood buffet and ordered a lb of crab legs. All the meat we had, including the crab legs were dry. You couldn’t pull the crab out whole it just kept flaking. Prime rib was dry and chewy (first time up it was a little dry but edible the 2nd time they had slices sitting in juice to try and rehydrate it. It wasnt even pink anymore). Catfish was dry. Even the carrot cake was dry. A manager came over and all she offered to do was talk to the chef. No offer of even a partial refund and we arent one to straight out ask for it. She sounded very condescending when we were explaining how it was dry asking how was it dry. I eat high protein low carb and my friend that was with eats carnivore so we didn’t try salad bar or anything we were just going for meat. For 78$ not worth it.

Love when I am able to get to the buffet . I was greeted with smiles and the server was Johnny on the spot(refill beverage at table as I was ready to finish first) The food was so yummy . They had a dish that was new to me, it was steak in a mushroom sauce and the flavors were amazing. The variety is great even though I veer towards the same things each time. The fish and mashed potatoes and gravy are my go to, but there is and Asian inspired foods that are great as well. I highly recommend.

Leonard our server was amazing, unfortunately that was the only good part of that experience. That was the worst food experience I’ve ever had. $60+ for two people and everything was either burnt, dry, or no flavor at all is ridiculous. For a buffet the selection was limited and underwhelming. Will not be returning again.

I’ve been going to this buffet on Fridays for Seafood Night for a few months now. I will admit that some of the buffet items aren’t really that edible and for $27.00 it’s not that great a deal, and for the additional $14 or so that you pay for the crab legs or lobster tails you get pretty sad looking food. Yes, there are issues with some tables not being cleaned promptly and being understaffed sometimes.
So why am I giving Robert’s a 4 star review? Most of the seafood options other than the lobster and crab are good (the catfish is especially good if you are a fan of it) and I’m a fan of the salad bar and some of the hot veggie sides they sometimes offer. (I like the ambience of the place as well but that’s my personal preference). More importantly, the staff here go out of their way to be the best they can to their guests. The customer base at the casino can be nasty, no offence, and for the employees at this casino (not just the buffet) to be able to stand tall and be the best they can says a lot about them. You have my respect as someone who doesn’t even gamble at the casino at all and is here once a week at best.
It’s more than what I can say for Sioux Falls; most restaurants here would collapse like a cheap shed if they had to do what Robert’s does on a regular basis.

Not worth the price! Went for the prime rib and was left extremely disappointed. The desert is the only thing somewhat decent. This should be a $10-$15 buffet max.
