They get a good rating for the sauce. It tastes freshly made and is quite flavorful. Good location next to the bowling alley. Great for kids and adults who want better quality food than the bowling alley offers. It is a low key place with friendly service. Sufficient seating.

EXTREMELY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered a pizza pie accidentally from this restaurant and I called the man telling him to cancel the order while it was still in the restaurant because I cannot have the chicken and would like to be refunded. THE MAN OVER THE PHONE STARTED TO YELL AT ME AND ACTED EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL TOWARDS ME. He would not pick up any of my calls. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. I was very disappointed and I told him to keep the pizza because I cannot have it but he would not listen to me and just kept yelling.

Here’s the thing. I used to live in the NB area and moved to rural PA where my food choices are limited. There’s no such thing as “authentic” where I live. My in-laws live in NB area and each time we visit I stop into Roberto’s for a quick bite to eat. Why, because the food is great authentic Italian. Every time I have been in there, I see the staff working very hard. The owner is usually up front working the register, answering the phone, and making pizza. He may not come off as “Mr. Nice Guy” when you’re ordering, but for real, it’s NJ… But take some time to start up a conversation with him and you will he is one of the nicest people you’ll ever talk to. The man knows how to make great food.
