Nice dinner with friends. The atmosphere and service were both excellent. Very attentive wait staff. The food was good, not great but a satisfying meal. The mozzarella appetizer with blistered tomatoes was excellent. The bread was hot, and the salads that came with the entree were delicious although I wish they were larger. The dressing was wonderful. Our table got the Dolce Vita Veal, Julienne Pork Chop, and mixed seafood with linguine. Our table agreed that all dishes could have used more spices. We shared the coconut gelato and the tartufo (with peanut butter and caramel). The tartufo was excellent. Overall a good meal with a reasonable price point.

BYOB. Small place, highly recommend reservations. We were seated immediately for our 6:30 Friday reservation and place was about half full, filling in quickly after us. Good selections of specials, I ended up ordering one, the cannelloni with ground veal and Rosa sauce, my wife the chicken Gabriella. Both were good, neither great but enjoyable. Appetizer (mozzarella in carroza) was very good and while small the complimentary salads were good. We wrapped up with the Roberto’s dessert which was a warm brownie with vanilla gelato that was excellent. Overall this is a good place on the island and contrary to other reviews, our bill for two was only $100 which I thought very reasonable for the island. I’d definitely be back. I think overall Isola/Azzuri are the top Italian on the island. I think Russos slightly better but similar and I’d pick Roberto’s over Rainondos. Service was top notch and while a smaller more traditional place spacing of tables was good.

Overall everything was amazing! There are alot of options on the menu. You can bring your own bottle of wine which is nice. They do have a few wines on the menu. We had the sangria and I would highly recommend it. Just be aware it is street side parking but there are side streets that you can park on.

First time here and it was amazing!! Chicken and Shrimp Franchaise was delish! Shrimp Scampi was great!!!! Owner/Chef Robert came to the table to greet us and Kathleen his wife welcomed us as if we came into their home! Will definitely go back! Food A++

Great place for an Italian meal on Long Beach Island. The food came out so incredibly fresh that it took a couple minutes before I could even eat it. I highly recommend the penne alla vodka and the fried mozzarella. Both were incredible. This has been a staple in our family for years and we always enjoy going here for a good meal. Always make a reservation in advance and bring your own wine.

Best Italian restaurant on LBI, hands down! Very family friendly atmosphere and prompt service. We enjoyed the rice ball from the specials, the pesto tortellini, bolognese rigatoni (pasta dishes came with a side salad), cannoli and lemon sorbet for dessert with cappuccino. Everything was perfection, highly recommend!!!

This place has a very traditional, at-home feel to it. From the decor, to the layout of the restaurant , it definitely felt like we were guests in their home. Just hanging out in their living spaces while enjoying a delicious meal. Really enjoyed the vibes and the delicious food made it that much better. Would definitely recommend the Pesto Pasta, Alla Vodka pasta as well as their Mozzarella in Carrozza. We didn’t see a kids menu / options. However the servings are quite hefty, so we ended up splitting 2 plates and an appetizer among the three of us and it was more than enough. In fact, we were not able to finish the meals. Believe me, we tried. We didn’t have a place to store any leftovers, so we didn’t want to leave anything behind because it was that good. We didn’t have reservations on a Friday evening and we didn’t have any issues. The place was lively but they were still able to find a table for us. It is BYOB. Easily one of the best meals we have had on the island.

After being in Covid lockdown for over a year, experiencing bad food locally..It was so refreshing to walk in to an establishment where you are impressed from the entrance. A girls weekend we walked in the door and were attended immediately with Service and a Smile. The Server, Kyle, went above and beyond, we didn’t have to ask for anything, steps ahead of us, was so appreciated, especially from a table of Moms. The food was astounding and the pictures I took don’t do it justice. I just can’t say enough everything was impeccable. BYOB and Reasonable Authentic Fresh italian food, I would have paid more. Kyle and Roberto, Thank you for an amazing experience, can’t wait to come back!
