Place was awesome. Full bar with great food. Large portions. Was starving after snowboarding all day. Had to take home leftovers. You won’t leave hungry. Had the duck quesadilla for an appie. Ordered the fish burrito. Pretty much fire. My mates had the enchiladas, carnitas tacos, and carne asada burrito. If you like tequila, they had a huge variety to choose from.

Do not skip this tip- order less food at first, you can always order more later. Even after reading other reviews, we made a mistake of ordering different foods for 4 people, NONE of us were able to finish our dish. Our server said they have mentioned it on the menu but I think they should still tell when people are ordering. We got tired of waiting but it was worth it. Good house margarita. I think every dish comes with guacamole and sour cream.

DO NOT EAT HERE . . . If you’re not REALLY hungry!!
I ordered the Burrito Grande (with grande I knew it would be big) but this thing was the size of my head! One of the few times in my life I couldn’t eat the whole thing. It was delicious. Wifey ordered the flautas and they were the biggest I’ve ever seen. The service was fast and super friendly.

Roberto Cafe is one of the best cafes for vegetarians in Mammoth Lakes. They stay open later than most places nearby—until 9 PM—which is a big plus.
Our server, Jasmin, was incredibly helpful. It’s not always easy to find good vegetarian food in Mammoth Lakes, but she worked closely with the chef to accommodate our needs.
I had the best chimichangas here, and they also have a great selection of wines. Highly recommended!

My only regret is that I didn’t get a single picture of the food! We came here with the family to celebrate a birthday after a friend recommended it as the perfect spot for a special occasion—and man, they were right! Everything was so delicious that we inhaled it before I even had a chance to snap a photo. I’m not even exaggerating!
The portions are huge. We tried four different items from the specials menu, and every single one was incredible. I’m not usually a huge fan of Mexican food, but this place is a total 10/10.
The service was top-notch; they really knew the menu and the food came out fast and piping hot. We started with some appetizers and beers, which were also great. The atmosphere is wonderful, and I’m so happy the birthday went perfectly. We left completely stuffed!
The bill for a family of five was surprisingly low, especially considering we couldn’t even finish everything—the portions were so big we had to take leftovers home! Parking is super easy, and the staff is clearly professional and very friendly. Thank you for such a great experience; we’ll definitely be back! I wish I could leave 10 stars—it’s rare that I’m this impressed with a restaurant!

Food was good. Chimchanga was delicious and the albondigas soup had plenty of meatballs in it. The place was very busy and loud. We sat upstairs at the bar area to get quicker service.

Delicious Mexican food, huge portions, friendly staff. Filling comfort food at reasonable prices. Can get busy since it’s a popular spot, but they have both upstairs and downstairs seating and they text you when your table is ready. Highly recommended!

This is a great place to go after a long day of skiing. Right when we sat down we were served chips and salsa. staff were polite and quick to serve. The Virgin Margaritas were great. The taquitos were amazing as well as the guacamole, but the steak in the carne asada was chewy. The portions were large but good for a small group to share. We were surrounded by beautiful paintings and a cozy atmosphere. Overall, this is a great experience to end our day.

We had a great dinner there. Me and my daughter shared the Burrito Gigante, it was so tasty, and the red sauce was excellent. And we couldn’t finish it, it was huge. Next time we go to Mommoth we will go there again for sure.

18% Surcharge on orders over $100 and it’s easy to go over $100 here because it’s a tourist town and they price gouge you.
The food is a little greasy and cold inside, not much lettuce but substantial portions. The containers are flimsy and will leak the grease onto you. They did not provide napkins and utensils.
