Steak, duck confit & a long wine list in a relaxed venue with wood beams & stone walls.

Amazing experience all around. Great food, very friendly service even to American visitors, and lovely ambience! I got the goat cheese, duck confit, and chocolate mousse, as well as 2 wines. Only came out to €50 which is an amazing price! I will be back again.

Great little restaurant in the heart of Le Marais. Very flexible to accommodate a walk-in on our first visit with counter seating. Other visits we had booked and had a table. The Foie Gras and Escargot dishes are perfect to start and the meat to share, cooked on the open fire is amazing. Also the individually portioned ribeye steaks are outstanding.
The upstairs has a cosy dining room with the open fire and downstairs cellar is an intimate and lively environment. Always try to make a stop here when in Paris.

Great restaurant, but “medium rare” was actually quite “rare” for me. It was still very red and very hard to chew. But good that the server asked if we wanted the meat to cook a bit longer. In general, the steak was ok, it was very hard to chew and you also have to add salt yourself. The restaurant needs a reservation in advance.

Absolutely loved our experience at Robert el Louise. I’d done a bit of research and booked ahead, we were seated by chance right by the open fire which was fantastic to see the chefs in action.
The steak was delicious (sharing steak) and the potatoes and beans on the side were an excellent addition too.
Staff were brilliant and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

This is a very special place. First of all, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to reserve 2 separate as a large group, but they did manage to merge us into one big table. The cheese and dry meat were excellent, so was the wine. But the highlight of the night was the 2 portion beauf. I cannot forget the crunchiness of its surface and the softness of its inside. Antricote is good to but as good as the beauf. I also recommend the creme brulee.

This place is truly a gem! Absolutely the best service and food in all of Paris! It was highly recommended to me by two different friends from America before coming and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was romantic, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the entire staff made us feel so welcome and cared for! They even surprised my girlfriend on her birthday by turning out the lights and singing her Happy Birthday. I LOVE this place and will forever recommend it to all!

This is an all-time great. The meat is done to perfection, full of flavour, crispy just to the right point, juices augmenting the taste, the natural palette coming out. Come here for steak, you’ll be at a loss if you choose something else.
The atmosphere is also unique. I was welcomed by Robert himself and when sitting in the restaurant you do feel like you’re in the middle of all the action. Stacks of flanks and steaks visible in the meal prep area and an open roaring fireplace create a unique ambiance.

Wonderful restaurant. We had the boeuf for two followed by a crème brûlée. The food was great, the atmosphere very inviting and cosy and a highlight was the young woman who served us (downstairs 29/1/26) Mercí.

The second time we’ve been to this fantastic restaurant. The cote de beouf is delicious and perfectly paired with sautéed potatoes and green beans. We shared the cote as recommended and were perfectly filled.
The meat is cooked on an open wood-fired griddle, don’t expect bells and whistles, this restaurant is all about doing one thing really well.

Phenomenal meat! My boyfriend and I shared the Steak for 2 and it came with 2 sides, either a greens salad, potatoes or green beans. It was the perfect amount of food.
