Surprised they’re still open. I’ve frequented Robeks around CT and never had an issue. I specifically told them I didn’t want a banana in my drink, immediately tasted it and they tell me that that’s how the drink is made. I said well I asked for it when I paid for it, and they refuse to remake it. Never going back.

**Super kind and friendly owners!** They work crazy hard to make sure orders are made quickly and accurately. They’re open for about 12 hours a day every day, and rush times go by quickly due to their swift execution of perfect smoothie and juice combinations made fresh to order. You can also order in advance, but don’t worry about getting there a little later than planned—they will place your order into the freezer until your arrival.
**The smoothies themselves are nothing spectacular**. They are tasty and cold, which is lovely on a hot summer’s day. You can create your own special smoothie, juice, or açai bowl and make something spectacular if you’d like. The Hummingbird seems to be their trademark smoothie, as a green hummingbird is their logo. It’s quite delicious . I’ve tried most of their smoothies and juices, and they’re all enjoyable. I sometimes get one as a mid-afternoon treat, especially when I’m craving something sweet! But beware of the sugar content! A large Hummingbird smoothie contains over 90 grams of sugar. You can, however, add, subtract, and/or substitute anything you want in your drink or açai bowl as there is an extensive list of add-ons you can peruse. Pretty much everything on the menu is 100% customizable.
**Negatives**:
– They do not have a public restroom available.
– The place seems a little dingy/dirty and could use a good once-over with a scrub brush and some cheer! There is a small “bar” area where patrons may sit and enjoy their beverages, but again, dingy and cheerless.

– The owners are amazing people who don’t get flustered during a rush. They are a great team, work together well, and are two of the sweetest and kindest people I’ve come across in quite some time.

I have always had a great experience with this location. I work nearby and come here fairly frequently for a smoothie. The staff are very friendly and responsive, and my smoothies are consistently fresh-tasting. I tend to get the protein style smoothies. They fill me up hours and taste great

Smoothies that are actually smooth! Staff that’s friendly, and sensible prices for what you are purchasing. The drinks are fresh, and despite being made-to-order maintain consistency across the board in terms of quality. Absolutely one of the better stores in this familiar chain.

Desperately needs stronger straws. Couldn’t really drink much until I got home and opened up the cup because the flimsy regular straws can’t handle the shake. Wish they would spend just a little more on better straws so I could drink this in the car or on the go the way it was meant to be drank. Edit: By the way I’d gladly gladly delete this review and add a new 5 star review if you’d just get better straws. I thought my head was going to explode trying to drink the shake, it instantly squeezes flat and cracks apart, I tried to clean it, push through and try again multiple times, your regular straws just can’t handle your shakes. Also when I drink without a straw it doesn’t taste as good, feels like it’s too much per gulp and tastes much better through the straw if it actually worked. You just need sturdier ones. *please!*

What a gem! First time here. I got the Coldbuster juice which is a perfect balance of flavors, delicious, and healthy. My child ordered a smoothie which is also really good. Will be back!
