Came back after Empire become NU Empire. Food is still good quality didn’t take all the pictures cos everyone was starving. Have to improve on the service speed from floor crew. I usually don’t complain but this need to be taken note by Management. Plates not cleared after finished while waiting for more servings and we have to call the waiter 3 times to clear up. This happened 2 to 3 times. They said OK please wait. Topping up hot and cold green tea faced same issues. Have to call them 2 to 3 times. For above average Jap food, I think service here definitely need to improve. Will only go back to Publika branch unless no other option. Kudos to the Chef for maintaining good quality food.

classy joint, but also solid good eating.
chook skewers with raw yolk dipping is highly refined incarnation of philosopher’s dilemma. egg comes first here, as chicken itself is so highly masked by marinade as to be unrecognisable.
beef sukiyaki is excellent for sharing. which is also essential, if you like moo rare. seems waste to let beef age out from bleeding age. broth remains rich and comforting throughout, if that’s any consolation. of which there is plenty.
sashimi boat is all fresh snappy winds and deep cold currents. and *real* wasabi to boot, rather than paste out of tube.

The food damn fast, we ordered Sashimi (and it was so fresh and thick), aussie beef grill and sushi for my wife’s birthday. Great ambient fresh food and very attentive manager (Mr Steven). Wife was happy with free birthday cake! Will definitely come again

I loved the ambience and food here. So authentic and delicious. Ingredients are fresh and cooked perfectly especially the grills. Really brings out the umami to the next level. Definitely looking forward to coming back here again.

I came here twice in a month. Once with my colleagues. And then I brought my family here. Love their cold soba and gyoza. Service is good and fast. Staff are friendly.

I’ve wanted to try this restaurant for a long time, and today I finally had time to try it out. Their food is surprisingly good (try out teriyaki chicken!!) and the set meal is definitely worth the money. Usually, the queue is long, but luckily not today! I will definitely come back again!

Food is absolutely horrible. Noodles is almost like it’s only stirred in sauce, skipped the stir frying.
Soft shell crab roll poorly deep fried and wrapped. Oil tasted super old and definitely not hot enough when fried.

First time trying the Izakaya. Food and drinks menu were pretty comprehensive. Ingredients freshness are okay especially their saba are nice and tasty. Drinks were on the expensive end but overall acceptable as their overhead must be high for this restaurant.

Took more than 20 minutes to get a set lunch …..ramen soup was bland..chicken looks as though boiled rather than grilled…cold ..noodles in lumps ..cawan was bland….
