Wonderful food, service, and ambience! Every dish was great with a special call out for the chicken thigh skewers and the calamari! Our server was friendly, attentive, and professional and we felt well looked after from the moment we stepped into the restaurant.

I had such an amazing experience at Robata! From the funky interiors, delicious food, warm atmosphere and kind staff, this is the perfect place to spend an evening.
It really has the casual fine dining feel – which was a great option to celebrate me and my partner’s anniversary! They even surprised us with custom writing on our dessert we got! Special shoutout to Rhia, who was extremely welcoming, kind and accomodating, and made us feel very taken care of. The customer service here is unlike any place I’ve been!
Overall, all these small touches really combined to create an unforgettable experience!!!

Amazing food, you feel you are in Tokyo. So many different options. Majority of them were great. Steak was not to my liking. Service was amazing, we have been served by Sofian and he had great charm and very knowledgeable of the menu and fun to talk to. Great service even at a very busy time. Cocktails had room to improve and have better variation. Highly recommend this place.

We chose this restaurant because it was close to the AO and we’re very pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The yakitori was juicy and delicious, the wasabi salad dressing made the simple salad amazing. The mochi donuts were bomb! All the food was so delicious that we went back two days later! In my opinion it is better than the social media star restaurants.

The food was excellent, as I have halal requirements. The staff clearly explained how the food was cooked, so we knew how it was prepared. The ambience was great, with background music and people around, but not too loud. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely be coming again in the future.

Absolutely outstanding experience! Me and my friend came here the other night. The food was the real highlight, every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. Dined here yesterday for an early dinner, walked past here a number of times and had it in my list to try.
Food was fantastic, had the edamame, salmon sashimi, chargrilled kingfish wing, yakitori meatball, squid, steak, pumpkin and a couple of drinks. Service was great, food all had a nice Smokey/wood fire flavour. Highly recommend!
We sat facing outside the restaurant to flinders st and it felt as if we were the only ones in the restaurant. Great experience!

Great food, amazing service. Can’t fault them. Ally was a standout as our server, we have about 50 years of hospitality experience between us and she hit that balance of knowledge and fun that you want for a Sunday lunch. Hope they passed on your tip, earned every cent!
