I heard mixed reviews before going and made our first visit. The staff were all very friendly but between four of them couldn’t find the other half of our party who were already seated. The facility is very well laid out and decorated nicely. We ordered four different meals, with three of four being just OK. Slightly bland, steak had to be returned and cooked again and for a $50 steak we were were disappointed. The chicken parm was a redeemer as it was excellent. Deserts were also a bit lacking for the price.

Party of 5. Came on a Sunday. Great atmosphere. It wasnt too busy. We were seated instantly. Gibson, our waiter, was awesome. Friendly, polite, and had great communication. Food was soo excellent! We had, Ribs and mashed potatoes, chicken and sweat potato, one had a burger and fries, chopped steak and mashed potatoes, and country fried steak and mashed potatoes. We also ordered potato skins and the brussell sprouts….everything, and i mean everything was good. Food was hot and whoever is the cook back there is amazing. We live in Florida and come up to Illinois once a year, we come here, and the food never disappoints. Definitely recommend this place.

This was my first visit today; lunch with some clients. The atmosphere is very well done and the fireplace was cool ambiance. They were a little slow, and the bartender took care of us. The menu is not overwhelming, and the costs are in line for the quality of the experience. Two of us had salads, and the other had a wrap. Food was excellent. I am an old fashioned customer service guy, and their service did not disappoint. Extremely prompt, polite and patient. I will definitely be back for lunch or dinner.

This id one of those spots you want to just try out if you are in the area. Have been in town for some work and was tired of the “Bar food” so decided we woukd treat ourselves to a steak dinner. The service was above and beyond, I will not take that away from our bartender. Great worker and the service was very good. We had wings for one of our appetizers, that was very good. We had these italian beef stuffef mushroom that were deliscious. Last appetizer was the frie calamari, a bit over breaded for my taste and the sauce was served in the dish itself. Calamari was a let down. The glasses the beers are served in are ice cold and perfect temp for the refreshing beer. I ordered the 16oz Omaha ribeye steak at the cost of $55. Not inpressed at all by the steak. I felt it was a bit small and overpriced steak. I would say Outback/ Texas Roadhouse would have been better taste and for about $20 cheaper. I would come for the steaks, maybe I got a bed one, but it seemed like my co-worker got same cut and had the same opinion. I’m not gonna say stay away from this location, I would just recommend not ordering the steaks, you can get better elsewhere.

Staff and service was outstanding. Not saying the food is horrible, the appetizers were the most part very good!

Food was great, and service was quick and attentive. My server Adam was very polite and helpful as well. I ordered the LA’s Punch, Calamari, and Italian Sausage Penne.

Was pretty good! I didn’t care for the salad or the lemonade, but my other food was great! My only complaint was I ordered h20 w my lemonade, server brought out drinks, but not my h20, I had to ask her again for it, and I also asked for lemon w my h20, never got it, but when she took the table that sat after us, they got h20’s and she literally asked them if they wanted lemon and brought it to them so I didn’t care for that! But it was w.e. but I do recommend the place all in all! It is expensive, so bring your $

Went here on Tuesday evening, atmosphere of this place is classy and clean, very inviting, seated in the bar area at a table. Service was good. Now the BEST part food I ordered from the Oktoberfest menu, got the Knockwurst very good the sides of Spaetzle and German style potato salad outstanding and the red cabbage also outstanding. Overall, a 5-star meal.

It’s a beautiful yet casual setting with great service and amazing food. So many delicious sounding things are on the menu, so it was tough to choose. Went with the halibut and was not disappointed. Cooked perfectly and beautifully seasoned. The roasted potatoes were the perfect complement.

They had an acoustic band playing during dinner, and, unfortunately, they were not very good, which impacted the overall enjoyment of the meal.

We recently ate at Rob Dobbs. I had the ribs and my wife had the walleye. Both were outstanding.
The ribs were excellent, meaty, no fat, came off the bones easily, but not overcooked. Way better than the brass pig unless you like your ribs an hour and a half under cooked and bad service.
Also, the service was outstanding. If you’re lucky and get LA as your server, you’ll never for want of anything, but I’m confident the others are also excellent.
