Great place with an even better ambiance. We came in for NYE as there was nowhere else nearby serving food and were able to enjoy a flatbread and some tacos accompanied by a few margaritas. Delicious! A nice gem in Clermont for sure. Our waiter was great as well, just wish I would’ve caught his name.

Roasted Spirit in downtown Claremont is an amazing bar! The service is super friendly and the drinks are great, with excellent seasonal options. The food menu has some great choices, too. I also love that Mondays are 20% off for hospitality professionals. It’s got a fun and sophisticated vibe, perfect for anyone who enjoys craft cocktails and a welcoming crowd. I had a great time and will definitely be back!

We had so much fun last night here! Blake was awesome, he checked on us and served us. So much fun to chat with. There was live music too! Next time we’ll try the food!

As long time patrons of this establishment, it was far past time to post a review.

That being said, yesterday was a huge moment for our family. We celebrated our son’s 21st birthday. And, the entire experience was worthy of a public breakdown.

First and foremost, if you frequent this venue, you have most likely met Justin and Sarah. These 2 individuals bring the sense of hospitality back to the industry, which honestly, has been lacking for years.

They remember your name. They remember what you drink. They are the “smiles and hello’s” that you get from a small town watering hole that doesn’t exist much anymore in this day and age.

They went out of their way to help us plan an outing for a monumental birthday (after all, you only turn 21 once).

They treated our party of 12 as if we were a part of their family. And, to a certain extent, they make it feel organic.

We’ll always remember our son’s 21st, but Justin and Sarah simply amplified it, and made it that much more special.

From watching our son order his 1st legal adult beverage, to his grandfather enjoying a pour of Double Eagle Rare and Eagle Rare 25 years; this was an outing that our family was talking about ecstatically the next day.

Roasted Spirit on its own, absolutely warrants a visit. From the great food, ambiance, and best bourbon/tequila selection you’ll find in Central Florida; it’s an absolute must.

But, amazing individuals like Justin and Sarah make it a reason to call it home.

Sarah and Justin were fantastic. After having less than expected experience at a nearby bar they made it worth the while. Validated our frustrations and helped us feel comfortable again. Thank you for having an amazing staff.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Nikki at Roasted Spirit! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely welcome with her warm, friendly personality. She is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and attentive, taking the time to answer questions and make sure everything is perfect. People also rave about Roasted Spirit itself, with its diverse and impressive selection of bourbons, tequilas, and craft cocktails, complemented by delicious small plates, reasonable prices, and a fun, enjoyable atmosphere. Nikki truly enhances that experience with her friendliness and dedication, making every visit memorable. I can’t recommend her enough, she sets the gold standard for service!

This is the first “bar” I’ve been to that ALWAYS is inviting and has a great atmosphere, staff and mood throughout. It’s high end offerings you can enjoy on a special night out for a date, or have a casual time with friends and feel great in the environment. The live entertainment is always really good without being so loud you don’t get to enjoy the people you are with.
The cocktails are excellent, with a fantastic selection of spirits to be made from. Even better yet is the selections of whiskey and other spirits for great neat pours and tasting events to get even more opportunities.

Best bar in Claremont. Nikki made me the best cocktails. Her and Kenny are the best and most attractive bartender duo I’ve ever met in my life.

A Bourbon & Tequila specialty bar. By far the best collection of fine Bourbons, Scotch, Whisky and Tequila in all of Central Florida. A charming bar that is comfortable from the moment you step through the door. The staff is excellent. Manager Andrew is well versed in all of the spirits so this becomes a learning library of excellent liquor for those who are on the path of discovery. As much as I love a good Bourbon, my heart belongs to fine Tequila. There is so much here that is excellent. Just a fabulous bar. Check out the bar menu as well. The meatballs are a must try. The tacos and Hummous board are all excellent choices.

Great job everyone!

If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to be a ghost in your own hometown, Roasted Spirits can give you the full immersive experience.

My husband and I stopped in for a spontaneous date night, genuinely excited to try a place that appeared lively. We grabbed two open bar seats, waited politely, made eye contact with the décor (since no staff attempted it), and eventually managed to flag down someone for a menu. No greeting, no welcome, not even a “Hey, I’ll be right with you.” Just a silent drop-off of paper.

The bartenders themselves seemed deeply committed to not engaging — unless you happened to sit in what appears to be the sacred, blessed corner where actual service takes place. Unfortunately, we were seated in the “Invisible Guest” section.

When I ordered a drink and my husband ordered water, the bartender’s face delivered a performance worthy of an Oscar: pure devastation. The Christmas Cookie martini that followed tasted like someone had accidentally knocked over the liquor shelf and decided to serve whatever spilled into the shaker.

No one checked on us, but at one point — after I mentioned to my husband how strong the drink was — a straw suddenly flew in our direction. No words, no gesture, just a straw tossed across the bar as if to say, “Good luck.”
So I took the hint, stirred it myself with the plastic straw, and yes, it helped slightly… but not enough for me to finish it.

Meanwhile, the staff continued their unspoken commitment to avoiding us entirely. No smiles, no energy, just a cluster of employees gathered as far away as possible — like the bar had a designated “don’t look left” rule.

Now, the highlight of the evening:
A staff member came within two feet of us. When we kindly let him know we were ready to close out, he responded — not once, not twice, but repeatedly — with:
“I’m not a bar back.”

No offer to help.
No “Let me grab someone.”
Not even a “Try the person over there.”
Just a proud declaration of his job title, as if we’d asked for his résumé instead of a check.

After several rounds of trying (and failing) to get anyone’s attention, we placed cash on the bar and let the same young man know it was for our tab. His response?
You guessed it: “I’m not a bar back.”

Honestly, the tequila bottles on the shelf showed more initiative than the people working there.

For a place with a cool concept and an impressive spirits selection, the hospitality was… nonexistent. Clermont has some incredible local businesses with heart, warmth, and charm — which made this experience stand out even more, and not in a good way.

Here’s hoping management brings in some actual hospitality to match the atmosphere they’re trying to create.
