Roaring 20’s has been part of the Flushing community for more than 45 years opening in 1978 . We offer 40 flavors of hand-dipped Ashby’s ice cream and 11 soft serve flavors, flavor of the week with Dole Whip, and most importantly, HOMEMADE WAFFLE CONES made fresh daily! We have an outside picnic area to enjoy your treats, and our parking lot is large enough for coach parking. Stop by and give one of Michigan’s top 29 ice cream stores a try. You’ll be glad you did!

The ice cream here was really good — no complaints on the product itself. However, the service left a lot to be desired. We were genuinely curious about the “Golden Scooper” award (which we saw was for the hardest-working employee) and politely asked if that employee was working today. Instead of a friendly answer, a staff member named Audrey responded with a rude and snarky tone that caught us off guard. It really soured the experience. Great ice cream deserves great service to match — unfortunately, that wasn’t the case during our visit.

A staple in the community I grew up in since the early 80’s! Had a blast in there tonight, taking a trip down memory lane with my dad, the owner Joanie, & customers!!! Joanie treats everyone like family who walks through the door, her personality unique, she keeps it real, & she IS ONE OF THEEEEE HARDEST working women I know. Lived here in flushing for over 30 years now and roaring 20’s is still my favorite ice cream place, they serve the best tasting ice cream and the homemade waffle cones are the best and they have a ton to choose from and my grand babies love it!
