Excellent chicken sandwich with fun spice levels. The medium is actually spicy and the fries are great.

Roaming Roosters delivers an exceptional fried chicken experience, easily ranking as one of the best in the area. The Nashville Chicken Sandwich was the highlight of the meal, offering a perfect balance of bold spices, crispy yet juicy chicken, and the refreshing crunch of slaw and pickles. The flavors blended seamlessly, creating what I can confidently say is the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had.

The chicken nuggets and wings were equally impressive. Each piece was perfectly spiced, crispy, and packed with flavor, requiring no sauce to enhance the taste. This level of seasoning and preparation showcases the quality and expertise behind every bite.

With flawless execution across the board, Roaming Roosters sets the gold standard for fried chicken. From the impeccable seasoning to the perfect crispiness, every item exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for a top-tier fried chicken experience, this is the spot to visit. Highly recommended!

Ordered The Club. Felt like the chicken could have been a tad bit more flavorful. Not a very memorable sandwich but not bad either. Fries were Five Guys-esque and came with Rooster Sauce that tasted like basic mayo and ketchup.

If you come here, don’t get no chicken tenders only get this chicken sandwich. I got the three chicken tenders they talked about is huge tenders tenders are a small less. I don’t know what they taste like Tysons chicken tenders. The ones that come out the bag never again, but the sandwiches are good

Wow — just wow! Roaming Rooster Tysons is on a whole different level. The chicken is insanely good — crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and the flavors taste so natural, not overly processed or artificial like some other places. Every bite feels like comfort food done right. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the vibe in the restaurant was just as good as the food. Honestly one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend — absolute must-try if you’re in the area!

I do like that they fried my chicken as I ordered it. It was a decent taste. Nothing special. I wouldn’t order here again. No one was there, lemonade taste 3 days old, and my order was not correct for a store with no customers at the time. While there could have been many reasons for this, I won’t hold it against the restaurant and say not to eat here. Just as a customer, demand better from them.

I got this beltway box that says you get fries, slider ,4 nuggets, a drink and sauce for a total $11.99. When i got the food it was only 4 nuggets, fries, and a drink. I went back inside to ask where my slider was and the worker said it was not apart of the deal but when you look at the menu in store it said it is. If you order everything separate you could get 6 nuggets, sauce, a drink and fries that are triple the amount they gave me for the same price. This was a absolute SCAM do not recommend.

I really enjoyed the sandwich. Hot chicken, got it medium just in case it was really spicy or hot. I enjoyed the whole thing. Slaw, bun, two pieces of chicken, and pickles. Sauce to add as I eat. Fries, fresh cut, were OK. A couple leaving before I walked in said it was really good. The cashier was very helpful. Try them out.

The mild honey butter chicken sandwich was delicious. I would order it again.
The no heat three wings were average. They were also not big. I was expecting big wings for $8-9 ($3 per wing!), but they were kinda normal sized. The wings come with a slice of toast and slices of pickles.
The fries were a disappointment. Large portion, but they weren’t crispy and seemed dry. It reminded me of microwaved French fries. I actually preferred throwing them away over eating them.
I didn’t try the sauce, but my mom said the rooster sauce and the sriracha sauce both looked and tasted the same.
Service was fine. I ordered online. They said it’d be ready at 4:00. I arrived at 4:08 and they handed it to me. I was in and out in 1 minute.
As many have mentioned, this place is expensive. For one sandwich, three wings, and fries, it cost over $25. It’s near the route 7 Walmart, so getting to the location is not convenient. I might go back to get the honey butter chicken again, if I go out to shop at Walmart. I don’t think I’d go on a trip solely to get from Roaming Rooster.

I’ve been hearing so much hype about Roaming Rooster that it was about time I check them out! I’ve only ever had Wooboi hot chicken sandwiches.

Their sandwiches kind of remind me of the Popeyes sandwiches, very big and crispy, but I do have to say, if you have really good spice tolerance, definitely go for the Hot or Extra Hot Spice levels. Medium at Wooboi was my limit, but the Medium at Roaming Rooster wasn’t spicy to me at all! The fries were very similar to the Five Guys style fries, cajun seasone. I have my rating as is because I just didn’t feel satisfied with my sandwich compared to when I’m at Wooboi… and was disappointed in the spice levels.
