Major Safety Concern – Undercooked Food & Poor Service
I spent nearly $70 on four sandwiches yesterday (Order #70), only to get home and realize one of the sandwiches contained almost raw, uncooked chicken. Beyond the quality issue, the service from the kitchen was extremely poor. I drove 28 minutes from out of town specifically to pick this up, and to be served hazardous food after that effort is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this place.

Really enjoyed my lunch today. Recently tried another chicken place and was disappointed. At Roaming Roosters when I walked in and I was greeted right away. The gentleman repeated a few things I asked about as it was my first time here. I ordered a Honey Butter (Medium Heat)Chicken Sandwich, Fries, Coleslaw and a fountain drink. I went to the restroom while they prepared the food. Everything was clean and the restrooms smelled nice. 6 or 7 mins later my food was ready. When he handed me my tray I asked about sauces. He said this comes with Rooster Sauce, Honey Mustard and Ketchup. All I said was “Wow!” he laughed at me. I ate my food while watching F1 qualifying on my phone. Very chill lunch.
The sandwich was amazing. Chicken was crunchy and just left my lips burning slightly. The honey butter added a little sweetness. Fries were 10/10 super crunchy and I was dipping the whole time. I don’t eat fries often but these were Coleslaw was good but just needed a pinch of salt. Next time instead of on the side I will ask for it on my sandwich.
When I finished I disposed of my trash and thanked the gentlemen for a yummy lunch. He smiled and said have a great day.
Overall love this place and it will become my go to chicken sandwich place! ☺️

On monday april 21, 2025 around 1pm. I placed an online order. I always loved roaming rooster. I normally go to crofton location i love it there. mind all the locations are about an hour away from me. First time going here was the worst experience ever. The front cashier was busy with customers, She turned her head and looked at me in a rude way when i passed by her when i went to the bathroom. BOTH bathrooms door knob said VACANT but it needed a code. I go to the cashier wait till shes done with the customer, i see that customer going to the bathroom and i say “hi im picking up an online order for ___, but first may i have the code for the bathroom please” this woman gave me the most ugliest rude face and very rude she said “there is someone in the bathroom” mind you i noticed there’s two bathrooms, so the other was vacant. I said “okay there is another bathroom available can i please have the code for the bathroom, and she said with an attitude speaking to me as if i spoke in another language, “no there is someone in the bathroom” i look at her confused because there’s two bathrooms so i ask again for the code and she said rude again “there is someone in the bathroom, code is _____”. Very rude customer service, the food wasnt fully cooked. The meat was still pink and bloody it made me vomit

Baby this place gives Chick-Fil-A a run for their money! That Honey Butter and Chicken Club is amazing. A nice crispy chicken sandwich with flavor. You can pick your heat level. Amazing. The staff was amazing. Just awesome!

Fairly new location here, decided to try it. I like the simple mess of the menu, you’re here for hot, fried chicken sandwich, few different ways, and typical sides – along with a handful other menu items. The chicken sandwich is tasty. I ordered the hot and liked that the chicken itself was hot, meaning it’s in the breading. They also give you additional sauce that you can add yourself to balance out the heat. And the fires are good, too, you get plenty in the cup and the bag. Give it a try, it’s pretty good. Oh, and careful with the heat, the hot was definitely hot.
