Visited this restaurant 2 days in a row. I have heard great things about it. My first experience was with the full slab of ribs, street corn, corn bread, and Pepsi . The corn bread is made the old style way with corn- best anywhere. Street corn was ok – the corn could have been fresher. The ribs had a delicious taste, however they were very dry and hard to chew. I was so pleased with the service I decided to give the restaurant a second chance. The manager at my hotel told me that he heard of the same complaints about the ribs , but try the chicken. My second visit I had the chicken, red roasted potatoes , corn bread and Pepsi. The chicken grilled right in front of you near the bar was juicy, tender, flavorful and highly recommend. This experience was top notch .
The atmosphere and service brought me back, the white oak fire/smoked chicken made me love this place

In the area for business with my coworkers. We decided to order the Fire Sampler. It states it is good for 3-4 people. There were 3 of us and we finished all of it. I don’t think it would be enough for 4 people unless they are light eaters. The ribs and the chicken were my favorite. The ribs were very meaty and tender with a fabulous flavor. The chicken was very tender and moist. The brisket had some fat in it but tasted good. The pulled pork was good but average overall. The cornbread was amazing.
The overall atmosphere was nice with a fireplace and roasting pit. The server was very friendly but average service.
I would return next time I am in town.

Great spot in Sioux Falls! The atmosphere was awesome, fire place well maintained keeping it cozy and warm while the open roasting fire was nearby. Fantastic selection of drinks, creative menu of Old Fashioneds and many more! The smokey smell that greets you as you walk in is to die for. The drinks were good and the food very delicious. Presentation was lacking on both, but taste was excellent! The deviled eggs were smokey and creamy and went well with the scotch and Manhattan we had. Very lovely evening and wasn’t too busy! Will definitely be back!

Our server was great. They were out of a few things, but we managed to make other options. The cornbread had corn in it, which I was not expecting. The chislic was very flavorful with 2 different dipping sauces. The bison steak was very juicy and flavorful. The chocolate cheesecake was so chocolatey. They had great options of whiskey and you could buy whole bottles on the way out. The only kind of whiskey they didn’t have was peanut butter. But they did recommend a liquor store that was 24 hours to pick up a bottle.

Very tasty food. Meat was cooked so well.
Carrots were so yummy.
The salmon was so tasty also, the fixings that came with and sauce paired nicely more with the steak. But so so good. Second dinner spent there was okay. Bones in salmon. Deviled eggs are salty and are made more of mustard if you like that flavor. Carrots, are always on point. Fettuccine with rotisserie chicken was tasteless but just needed salt and pepper, could have used a little more Alfredo sauce. Be careful there was a bone in bite size of chicken piece. Chew food carefully

The dining experience was excellent. The quality of food from soup to main course was far superior than any restaurant we’ve dined at. I had salmon, my granddaughter had fettuccine plus cream, and my husband had the meatloaf which he is still talking about. I also had an old fashioned bourbon out standing .
We found the staff to be personable and very helpful,Thanks again Jennifer and Robbie. The atmosphere and decor matched the quality of the food.My one complaint is we do not have Roam kitchen and bar by us .

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review for Roam, Sioux Falls

Roam is the perfect blend of modernly rustic charm and elevated dining. The atmosphere strikes a balance between cozy and stylish — warm wood tones and rustic touches paired with a modern edge that makes the space feel both inviting and fresh.

We ordered the Range Meat Loaf and the Bourbon Glazed Salmon, and both dishes were unbelievably good. The meat loaf was hearty and comforting, yet refined in flavor, while the salmon was cooked to perfection with a glaze that added just the right amount of richness.

The cocktails were equally impressive. The Old Fashioned was smooth and balanced, and the Mule had that crisp, refreshing kick that rounded out the meal beautifully.

Between the outstanding food, the thoughtful drinks, and the modernly rustic atmosphere, Roam delivers a dining experience that feels both elevated and approachable. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.

The food was good. Our appetizer in my opinion was a little light on the toppings. We ordered some meat sampler thing to share, they were out of ribs, so they substituted. Our waiter was nice, but seemed a little forgetful (maybe new). Overall a nice place with good food

The service was great everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Baby Back Ribs, they were great with alot of meat. I highly recommend them. I also ordered the Woodfired Buffalo Wings 6 whole wings they were very good. I order wings everywhere I go and will definitely order these again. Tried two different deserts Apple Bread Pudding was so good and a Brownie with Vanilla Bean ice cream with Carmel Sauce was very good as well. I highly recommend ROAM to anyone looking for experience and filling delicious meal.
