We’ve visited at lunchtime four or five times now. Food is fresh, cooked to order and service has always been top notch. It’s only about 30 minutes from our home, and worth the drive.

I hate to give a good review because I love this place. Don’t ya’ll come here on the same days as me! It is one of the best places for a good meal anywhere near Gadsden and reasonably priced. The servers were polite quuck to please, even to the point of anticipating our needs. Piedmont is about an hour from Gadsden but well worth the drive! We ate from the buffet which included choice of 5 desserts.

Maybe just a bad day, but …… we ordered 2 BBQ sandwiches with fries. Our table was dirty, I asked the waitress to wipe it down, but it never happened. We waited over an hour for our food, no silverware, no napkins..nothing. Who serves BBQ with no napkins? We recieved a gift card for Christmas, so thankfully we didnt have to pay for it.

I had high hopes for this place, but was let down. I know they just opened and I hope they can improve. We walked in and the atmosphere is just a bit odd. It’s a black room that’s very loud and echoey. We ordered the Brisket Nachos about 20 minutes before our food and it still came out with the rest of our food, which defeats the purpose of an appetizer. The nachos looked good but the chips (more like whole grain crackers) were just a little weird. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and my son ordered a kids cheeseburger, when they brought them out we couldn’t tell which was which because they were both the same size and neither had bacon. The meat wasn’t seasoned and I could have made a better burger at home. It took forever for the food to come out our waitress came to our table 4 times to tell us sorry about the wait and that they just got out of a rush … There was nobody else in the restaurant until after we got our food. A family came in after we got our food and a lady abruptly ran from her chair gagging like she was about to puke and we instantly weren’t hungry anymore and started to get paranoid. We picked up a bottle of Pepto on the way home for just in case.

We ordered 2 sandwiches with fries to go. Asked for crispy fries, double cooked. Both of our orders of fries were old, cold, soggy, half-cooked, and inedible. We didn’t eat them. My BLT was pretty good, but super messy and hard to eat. Their bread is pretty small. You also have to put your own mayo on it with little packs. We also got the shrimp po-boy which was okay, but cold. Will not be eating here again. Prices are a little too high, as well.

Our 1st time there was tonight.
My wife had a grilled Cesar salad and I had the hamburger steak, baked potato and salad. After we ate, we sampled the bbq and it’s so good. The staff is very friendly . I highly recommend you try this place out. We look forward to breakfast next time and many more trips afterwards.

Got the New York strip and asked for medium rare and it came to me well done; while half the steak was fat. The place was super understaffed and it took forever to get my food. My food sat on the window for several minutes because the waitress couldn’t get to it. If you’re going to go for bbq, don’t expect a good selection, because there’s only pork and ribs. Their water tasted like it came from the faucet too, and they charged .50 for it. The waitress was just so sweet though. I sat next to the window and there was dead flies sitting there and the blinds were super dusty.
