First time we went to Road Trip in Port Jeff we had a great experience. Food was hot and delicious and the service was great.
This time today,2-13-16 the tables were clean however the dishes, glasses and silverware were unacceptable> The soda was flat (tried two) so had to have water. The waiter did the best he could to keep us happy.
Food came out looked and tasted good until a cockroach came prancing across the able when my husband covered it with a napkin and said it time to go….
We tipped the waiter and left without paying the bill, I will never go to this or any of there restaurants again, I feel ashamed for bragging about it last time.

Most recent visit was on a Sunday evening. Even while it seemed like it was a light staff, got our food as ordered, and in a timely fashion. Clean and enjoyable place.
For the record, the fries at this place are classic cut salty and greasy. They aren’t cooked wrong, that’s the way they make them.
I’ve been here a few times, and each time is pleasant. Not great enough to make it a regular place, but good enough to be in the dinner/drink spot rotation.

My friends and I have been going to this place for a few times. The food is good. But last night was absolutely insulting. We sat down in the bar area and our server did not want to be there.. At all. She tries taking our drink order which she gets wrong because she didn’t write it down(really?) . Then we order our food. We wait 20, 40 minutes(for wings? Get outta here) we finally notice that our food is just sitting under heat lamps getting hard and stale. Wheres our waitress? At the bar having a beer! Are you kidding? In fact it looks like shes off work and hanging out with the rest of the staff. Apparently when the manager is away they like getting sloppy drunk. We laughed uneasily and figured she clocked out and someone else would take care of us. Nope. Waited another 15 minutes- finally my friend approached the bartender and complained. We decided to pay for the drinks and leave- when we told the bartender this she didnt look phased as if this has happened before. She told us “well our food is ready NOW and we should pay for it” we told her were not paying for old stale food that we didn’t even receive. She just said.. ok. Didnt apologize AT ALL and gave us the check. Never again. I hope the business owner sees this. Fires the bunch and starts fresh with a new team – because thats the only way id consider going back when theres 100 other gastropubs in the local area. Worst service to the point of insult.

I’m gonna start with the end, which is the most ridiculous part of it all… When I spoke with a supposed manager (he says he only manages one day every two weeks) about the extreme lack of customer services experienced, he told me they’d send me a gift card for the amount I paid over the groupon. Cool, ok that’s fair. A month later, no gift card. I called again and ended up speaking with the owner, Phil and he was the most condescending, insulting, rude individual that I can’t believe owns anything. (But I wouldn’t exactly call that place a success, anyway). I’ve never encountered a business owner who acts as he did. I was inquiring about a follow up on the refund/gift card but he kept talking over me and as I tried explaining myself politely and professionally, he kept on not listening and cutting me off, eventually saying he won’t give me a gift card (so immature!) and hung up on me without ever listening to what I had to say or asking me about the night I was there… Obviously that explains why he hires such Lacking and sloppy employees to run that place… Just wow.

I went to this restaurant for the first time ever, on a groupon and my experience was horrendous. We got there over an hour before kitchen closing time, and were the only ones in the section at the moment. The waitress looked at us, rolled her eyes, and was cleaning tables for aprox 10 min before she came to the table to greet us. We didn’t even think she was a waitress, maybe a busgirk. Then, apparently her friends came and sat down at one of the tables in that section because she sat with them. She actually sat at their table and socialized with them, continuously, her back turned to us. She ignored us the entire time. I had to yell her name out and ask for the check. The growler cap was clearly, visibly dirty/rusted and the waitress said it was the cleanest one… And of course when I got home I realized it was bud light when I asked for GSB Blonde Ambition which she said was an included beer for the groupon… But that was a waste of time because they planned on pouring the bud anyways…

Bland, tasteless food, mediocre service. This is the second time I’ve come here, the first time was bland too, but I wanted to give them a second chance. The terrible food coupled with the fact that all their tap beer, which is all the good beer, is not eligible for happy hour, leaves me with only one conclusion, never come back again.

Dont go here it’s the worst place ever. I sat down with my father and his friend in the dining area at a table in perfect of eveyone. We were ignored the entire time we were there. Not once did a server come to our table but yet they waited on every other table even the couple that walked in and sat for 5 minutes got there drink orders and food orderservice taken. I even had to get up and pour my own water. Worst place ever

Excellent brunch on every every other Sunday. Call ahead to be sure. Huge selection of breakfast and lunch options plus the sweets station. Very nice!
