I used to eat there every day in the 70’s and it was great and super friendly. The owner and his wife are modest down to earth people who have served the community for over 40 years. The change in decoration made it a little less inviting in my opinion but it remains a great burger joint which I highly recommend.

The place is nice, some Geneva locals even think of it as their childhood memory. However, it’s really quite average. The burgers are not bad, but nothing to call home about.

Update 2/25/20 Yah, still the best burgers in Geneva. I was already going when I was 17 (and brought all my kids too, generation after generation). Very cool personnel, awesome beef, buns and add ons. If you like meat, come here : no burgers covered with sauces, but THE taste … I love this place.

Appreciate that locals have grown up with this place but it has not moved with the times at all. If you want an old fashioned burger, then its not 10CHF + 4CHF fries at this place. Good to support local businesses but its very ordinary here. I hate McDonald’s and Five Guys etc but cannot see the difference. You just pay much more here. Maybe for kids but definitely not me..

Here you can have your burger as simple or as dressed as you like it. You can choose one or two patties. I had the Mexico burger, loved it!
The ingredients are fresh, the bread was nice and soft, the restaurant is clean and the personnel is very friendly and cheerful.
Two special mentions: they have great music (loved the Stones today) and a soft ice machine that works!

Good selection of well cooked burgers. If you want well done beef you need to tell them.
Service is brisk and friendly and at lunch time there is a vibrant school crowd in here.
Friendly service and decent burgers.
Lunch times get there early if you want a seat as it gets very busy.

Best burger in geneva and the oldest too. 100gr Patties and the tastiest cheddar. Buns are real bred like. Only the fries aren’t salted enough in my opinion. But we don’t go there for the fries ♂️Only one other place competes with it !
