The food was awesome. I had the muscles as an appetizer. They were garlic with some peppers, green peppers, red peppers awesome. They were not watery. They were cooked to perfection and I also had a crabcake meal fried crabcakes. They were not greasy. They were like very, very light as far as any oily taste none at all and they were cooked to perfection lots of crab very very little filler. All you could taste really is the crab, pure meat, and my waitress Michelle very attentive. Those crabcakes taste better than the ones I’ve had at red lobster they taste better than the ones I had at Pappadeaux‘s the real deal. Michelle is a good waitress, great server very professional and very quick. Don’t get to come here often, but if I could, I would. If for any truck driver, you could park at the truckstop oasis they are right next-door almost on the same property truck is delight. You couldn’t get better at a gourmet restaurant or made to feel any better far as treatment goes from the people.

So my wife and I have visted them occasionally over the last 5 years because this place WAS a dive bar. However RnR sports bar is no longer a dive bar. They have completely remodeled and changed the atmosphere of this bar and grill entirely to a nice grill and bar. Previously we ate here one time and never since, till last night the food quality has drastically improved still not quite my favorite food but not poor food and reasonably priced.

This was my last trip here. I’ve tried numerous times, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Breakfast experience today: ordered online at 0930; arrived at 0945 told order was being “worked on “ and after asking again at 0950, I learned that the cook was just starting my order and had only now recognized the ticket that was sitting for 20 minutes!! The photo below shows a hard, broken biscuit tied with a very dry sausage patty and a fried egg (which is the only thing that she had to cook). I threw it in the garbage where it belonged. While waiting, I heard the staff openly complain, no less than 20 times about being “short staffed”. There was an older waitress helping the cook, who screwed up at least three orders while waiting.
I was told by this cook that although I ordered at 0930, the ticket didn’t supposedly print until 0950, although the older waitress was able to view my order and confirmed it with her when I came in at 0945. She made the statement “Sorry about your luck”.
Past experiences include waiting for lunch service with my brother until we got up and left, and several dining experiences with my wife that were similar in wait times, with NO ONE ELSE THERE.
Very sad. I won’t be back.
I even had a waitress that claimed to have worked there for forty years stated “we ain’t going anywhere”, when I voiced concern over the restaurants sustainability!!

Walked in to pick up an order. Awkward stares and no response back when I said hello. Oh well, on to the food: Its mediocre at best. Lacking flavor and execution. Its a bar so, I think if you go there and have a night of heavy drinking… the food will serve its purpose. Its food. I will go there for drinks to give it another shot and rate the atmosphere. I stopped in at opening to grab something to eat. Ordered Maryland Crab dip. It was not good….microwaved and just gooey. The cheese on top was not toasted and even the pretzel sticks were microwaved. The pretzel sticks were extremely hot and just very stretchy and it was just….gross. Sorry. I also ordered a Bloody Mary and there was way too much celery salt in it. I had about a tablespoon that settled in the bottom of my glass not counting what was suspended in the drink. Deep friers, UGH, the smell of the frier wasn’t bad when I came in but as things warmed up it was overwhelming, as if the oil was quite overdo for changing. Sorry, it’s just a no go for me.

I believe in this place. The food is usually very good. The renovations are outstanding. However I feel like they don’t believe in themselves. They dont advertise. And it just feels sad and empty. And for a Friday evening at 6pm they should be packed. They were not. The outdoor tiki bar area is awesome but only had 1 person. Inside there was only one person do the job. The bartender, no one else. No help. No wonder no one wants to come back.
