What a wonderful little hidden gem in Mineola, TX! After an afternoon of thrift shopping, we needed to cool down with a refreshing drink. We found RNA Tavern and were not disappointed!! If you’re in the area, go check them out! Jojo, the bartender was absolutely wonderful and so friendly and fun! The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. It’s such a neat little place! You’ve got the downstairs bar area, then you walk through a hidden door, a bookshelf, and it takes you to a private room, followed by the patio and an upstairs cigar lounge. I felt like I was in a whole different world! So much fun!! I will definitely be visiting again the next time I am in the area. Go check em out!!!

If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out on a great experience! The owners are very kind, chill, and funny. The hidden bookshelf that takes you to the patio/smoking area/cigar lounge/pool table game room is the most awesome feature! Spacious and laid back vibe.

RNA Tavern is a cozy place with cool vibes and great drinks! Cigars can also be purchased on site, or you can walk in with your own stogies to enjoy. We purposely went there on a weeknight and sat outside with friends and libations under the covered patio. By the way, the patio is accompanied by an exposed brick wall with a colorful, geometric mural which makes a wonderful backdrop for selfies.The patio is accessible through a secret door, at the back of the bar, disguised as a simple bookshelf. A bohemian styled lounge area is available behind the secret door as well. For distinguishing customers who choose to join the optional monthly membership, a private lounge area is provided upstairs. However, the monthly membership is certainly not required. As an added bonus, live music is performed on Sundays.This is my new spot to share with friends and family!

This downtown gem in Minneola, Tx is worth the drive. Live music from a wide range of local talent every Sunday is only made more enjoyable by some great drink specials. Be sure to check out the speakeasy style cigar lounge and outdoor patio. (They have their own branded cigars roiled here in TEXAS)

We were looking for open antiques stores on Sunday afternoon, none were open but RNA Tavern was open. We went in and were astounded. It’s a beautiful old-world bar with modern details. They have a fantastic inventory and make and unbelievable smoked Old Fashioned. Be sure and ask for a tour. You’ll be thrilled!!
