My Wife & I went to Rj’s Restaurant for the first time. It was an incredible experience for both of us. Our server was very pleasant & knowledgeable about the food and drinks available. We were blown away with the quality of our meals. My compliments to the Chef. We will be going back next time we are in the Pittsfield area.

Mother-in-law & I popped into RJs after attending the No Kings Rally at the Commons. It was a festive, happy event & we wanted to celebrate!
We enjoyed a lovely meal …UNTIL… our server LOUDLY started speaking ill of the event and rally-goers (like us) to another employee. Said they “hated” us.
This, AFTER we had already paid & tipped *very* well. It became extremely uncomfortable & I did not feel welcomed after spending a good chunk of money at your establishment.
I immediately started to worry that maybe our food had been contaminated- if our server was so offended by our first amendment right to gather peacefully, did they see our signs when we came in & messed with our food?
So, I felt i needed to throw out my leftovers.
Really wish I’d known the server felt like that BEFORE we sat down. I try not to patronize pro-trump/ pro-fascist establishments. We moved up north to get away from these people.

Place was fantastic. Confirmed my reservation and special request, a corner booth for a date, very quickly. The waitress was attentive and had excellent recommendations. My date took her recommendation for a modification on their cocktail order which got compliments from other tables. My Appletini was great. Pasta dishes were fantastically portioned and delicious. Would recommend easily.

We traveled 2 hours today to get to RJ’S based on some recommendations about the seafood, and everything we order it was delicious.
Their seafood is excellent and the service the best !!!
We even met the owner at the end of our meal, great person.
Definitely a place to comeback.

My wife and I are definitely what you would call foodys. While visiting the area we discovered this gem on line where it was voted one of the best in the area by locals.It did not disappoint! From the atmosphere and holiday destinations, to the staff that was friendly and our waiter was on top of his game polite professional and accommodating as was the owner! But let’s not forget that we came for the food! Everything from the appetizers to our main course to the dessert was well prepared nicely arranged and delicious. This restaurant deserves the top vote, as it checks all the right boxes for a well run restaurant!

Lump crab meat in the cakes….is false advertising …. 14 dollars and i found 3 strands of crab…. mushy Ritz cracker taste was horrible went on to try lasagne was a bowl of mush…no layers no ricotta that I found grease and uncooked veggies mozzarella tasted microwaved …sad ….also paid with a 100…obviously annoyed that i sent everything back and this is how my 85$ change was delivered … petty

Very solicitous in their service. Excellent customer service, way above and beyond. We didn’t even ask for things before they did things… Like there was a large party that came in after we did. It was a small space and we didn’t complain of course but they came and offered us a table in another room. They’re thoughtful, helpful, and serve the most delicious food. Ask for something to be cooked rare? It was indeed very rare ❤️ Other restaurants could learn from them. Highly recommend

My wife and I visited a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, this visit didn’t measure up to our first experience. She ordered the Veal Parmesan, which she found tough, though on our previous visit I had really enjoyed the veal. I tried the Ribeye Special—the flavor was very good, but about half the steak was gristly and inedible. At nearly $60, I was hoping for a better cut.
Our server also wasn’t very attentive and never checked in on how our meal was going. With a little more focus on food consistency and service, this could easily be the great dining experience we were expecting. We truly hope to see improvements, as we know the restaurant is capable of more based on our first visit.

I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The place looks very unremarkable from the outside. The inside was clean and comfortable. There is a parking lot, and that is always a plus. I got the salmon and my wife got the steak. Both were excellently prepared. I apologize for the brief review. The meal was enjoyed during a heavy snow storm. I WOULD DEFINITELY DINE HERE AGAIN AND AGAIN!

Stopped in for some light fair. I ordered the the calamari arrabiata,the Calamari was fried well, not a big fan of how they tossed the marinara directly over the calamari, but that’s an easy fix. Service was professional set at the bar. Would return to try other dishes
