Delicious hometown food, if it’s summer ask to be seated near a ceiling fan, there’s no ac in most of the restaurants in this town. The purple decor isn’t my thing but it sure is theirs and the food is still delicious.

We found RJ’s online while looking for a place for breakfast. We were promptly greeted by Maria, the local owner. The food was fresh, hot and excellent. I ordered one of their four-egg omelette. It was served with a generous serving of fresh made hash browns and a biscuit. Altogether, far more than I could eat; there is an option for a half omelette. My wife had French toast, and our daughter ordered pancakes. Again, the servings are ample. The food was great, and Maria was so kind. My daughter asked if they had chocolate milk; Maria said “No. but I would be glad to make you some.” And, she did! Great experience and prices are more than reasonable!

Stopped in here to refuel for breakfast on our way to adventures in SE Oregon on a Friday morning at 9am. The food was great but it took over 40 minutes to get our hash browns and omelettes to the table when there were only 2 other tables with patrons. Not sure if they were down a cook or staff but for a breakfast diner the purpose is to deliver quick food especially when empty. Unfortunately, I won’t return due to this on future trips through the region.

The front counter/server girls manners and customer service were not existent – eye rolls, surly and rude responses were standard. To identify her- she had a 2004 and a 333 tattoo on her right hand fingers.

Took over an hour for super basic items, pancakes, hashbrowns, and bacon. My pancakes were like… stale or something? They weren’t burned, but they were rock hard. Bacon was swimming in grease, and my hashbrowns were burned and flavorless.

Poor servive. It took 50+ minutes for our meal to come, waffle & egg, kids corn dog and eggs Benedict. Eggs on the benedict were poched hard. While waiting, I had to ask for coffee refills, and it wasn’t busy.

Humble exterior, Excellent food!! Bacon is fantastic, breakfast burritos delicious, fried eggs and crispy hashbrowns perfectly cooked. Older building but everything is spotlessly clean.
