Established in 1989, RJ’s Pub has been a cherished local institution in Rochester Hills for decades. This classic American pub and sports bar offers a welcoming atmosphere for friends and family to gather. The menu features a delicious selection of classic pub fare, delicious pizza and grilled specialties, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch or dinner. With multiple screens broadcasting the latest games, it’s the perfect place to cheer on your favorite team with a great meal and a cold drink. Play Darts or Golden Tee during your visit. We drove over an hour to come to RJs. We are happy that we did. Katie P the bartender was amazing. We played a ton of keno and pull tabs and she was always there to help us. Food was great!! Also the mens bathroom was spotless. I mean the cleanest bathroom I’ve ever seen. That’s a sign that tells you a place is great if they have clean bathrooms.

They’ve been here a long time, but this was our first first time there. It is a great place to take in a game with plenty of TVs around. We had the deep dish meat lover’s and it was legit. The dough was a bit airy and thick, the crunch along the outside was amazing. The toppings were perfect. We had a blast with our waitress (sorry, didn’t catch her name. She’s originally from VA I believe).

So my family and I visited
last week for trivia, on Wednesday night. The seating is first come first serve, tried calling earlier in the day to make reservations for accommodations and was told they don’t take them, which is fine. We get there, we’re directed to the ramp that takes you to the trivia area. We slid the tables together to make room because there were 6 of us. (Again, no issue with this.) Once we sit waitress comes over takes the drink order, and our app order. She comes back gives us our drinks, the apps start to come out later but they tried giving us breadsticks, when we specifically ordered cheese sticks, the waitress denied that we ordered those had that conversation for about 5 minutes before she would finally correct the order. My father who is diabetic requested Diet soda and was brought regular soda, again had to have this discussion with the waitress. Instead of her saying “Oh I’m sorry about that, let me get you a new one.” She went on to say she was messaged and told the drink order was changed. Finally she brings the now diet to the table leaving it with a sarcastic “one diet, that’s my final offer.” My sister who had been one of the first people to order food, never received her food. We were there for 2 hours, and everyone else at the table got their food already. The waitress only realized when she went to give her the bill and offered to grab her food as we were about to leave. My stepmother requested an additional chair because of her legs and recent surgery it hurts her to sit in high top tables. The waitress said she’d grab it, almost 20/30 minutes pass and my father ends up taking one from the table of the host for trivia. We played the game, ate. My father then went to go talk to the owner, the owner went on the defensive offering a “I’ll have my son look at the cameras.”
As someone who’s worked in service, restaurants managing them. This was not it. Only have a 2 star because the game was fun, the atmosphere itself wasn’t too crazy, and it looked like it is often cleaned.
I’ve also seen the 1 and 2 star reviews, with the owner responding in an argumentative tone. Genuinely not interested in a response unless it’s an apology.

Had Madison as my server. I cannot find words to express how absolutely amazing she was. We’ve only been here a handful of times but have had Madison as our server twice and she consistently goes above and beyond for us, especially with our odd list of family allergies. She’s warm, welcoming, and the best part of the experience. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, and we will be frequenting this restaurant for her wonderful hospitality. This place needs more Madisons. Would recommend to anyone who asks

An utterly splendid evening from start to finish. The margarita was quite possibly the finest I have ever had the pleasure of encountering, impeccably balanced and delivered with undeniable confidence. The buffalo sauce deserves special commendation, a bold yet refined creation of remarkable depth that transcends its humble role. The staff were attentive, polished, and ever present without being overbearing, conducting themselves with admirable grace. One does not simply dine here, one partakes in a thoroughly civilised experience. I shall most certainly be returning once I find myself back in Michigan, for at present I have retired to my chateau in London.

We visited RJ’s about a month ago and had a fantastic experience! Madi was our server and made our experience even more enjoyable. She was very attentive to our needs and questions. Her bubbly energy really set the tone for a good night out. We shared nachos and wings and they were delicious. We will for sure be back and ask for Madi! 10/10 would recommend!

I want to thank the entire RJ’s staff for the work they did to make my Mom’s funeral luncheon on Thursday such a success. So many people told us this was perfect and exactly what she would have wanted. My mom’s favorite bar was RJ’s and she has been going there for years. She passed last week from cancer and one of her requests was RJ’s wings and pizza after her service. So that’s what we did! They were so kind and helpful despite way more people showing up than expected. They went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly and feed a lot of people!
The service and food here are always top notch, and we will always love RJ’s.
Thank you for being a part of honoring my mom who was one of kind! She was the life of the party and would have loved seeing are her friends and family enjoying RJ’s together!!

This was the perfect place to come after winning two games of bowling! Our first time at RJ’s Pub was amazing. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and Sophia was an absolutely fabulous waitress. They even made homemade Christmas treats for guests! We can’t wait to come back!!!

RJ‘s has great food, great service and great atmosphere. I love to come here and watch football games. The last time I was in Sophia was my server and she was excellent. She was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend RJ‘s. Try the wings, you won’t be disappointed.
