The only thing about RJs that I have an issue with (this was my 2nd visit) is how close the tables are together it feels kind of cramped. It isn’t a very big place. I am guesing it’s a local hot spot though, and I guess the regulars pack in and feel comfy in there so I get it. This visit the music was kind of loud, it made conversation with my girls a bit difficult. I should have asked if it could be turned down a bit I suppose. Overall RJs is a pretty good place to get some good food.
The restaurant offers a great selection for breakfast. It’s spacious, has a pleasant ambiance, and we were seated right away without any wait. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was impressively quick for such a large venue.
We ordered the French toast with two eggs and sausage, as well as the breakfast skillet with two eggs and biscuits. Both dishes were delicious, and I especially loved the French toast—absolutely fantastic! The prices are reasonable, and there’s plenty of parking available in front.
Completely off topic, but there’s loads of cats behind the building if anyone is hoping to nudge the cat distribution system along!
