Very disappointing sub spot. We’ve been wanting to try this place out for months given all the great reviews. What we got was extremely disappointing. The Rueben, nearly $15, had stale bread, and barely any meat. The Italian sub we got wasn’t much better. All the ingredients looked good, but nothing really stood out. It all tasted very bland, and not worth the price at all. $60 for 3 sandwiches and no one enjoyed it. You’re better off going to a Jimmy John’s or a Firehouse Subs.

I’m glad that you had enough time to stalk my review history, must be a slow day at the shop, that’s not surprising. You’re right though. I do post 1 and 2 star reviews for places like yours, so that others can know what they’re getting without having to be ripped off. There are also plenty of 5 star reviews from places that actually care about the quality and value of the food that they serve. Maybe instead of being childish you could take some accountability and be less dishonest. It’s bold of you to lie about the prices of your food when there are these little things called receipts. I guess $14.40 is the new $11. I’ll give you one thing though, making it add up to $60 is difficult when I forgot to mention the $4.80 (world’s smallest) cannoli’s.
As for your plans for improvement, there’s no need to train your salami. You could just pay attention to your apparent daily deliveries and maybe toss out the stuff that’s gone bad, or source better quality ingredients. You could also try having some consistency, it seems most of the complaints for your deli are pricing and quality. Guess we’re all just hard to please.

I’ve been here multiple times. Ordered delivery and gone in person. When the sub is made well it’s great! The problem is the consistency. Sometimes the sub is overflowing with meat, other times there are only two slices. Today I added mustard to my sub and it was dripping mustard, wayyyy to much. Sometimes the coleslaw is great. Today, not so much…

So I was hungry coming from the DMV, and I saw this little mom and pop shop. RJs has very pleasantly surprised me with the quality of their food. The Ultimate Italian has a tangy, full feel and is very pleasant. I’d recommend it here, It’s very homely.

Im learning that just because its not in the downtown sector, it doesn’t mean it isn’t good. For those of you that read my post you know that I loved me some Primo’s… And I loved what I have tried at Honey baked ham. But if you are looking for a real Italian (or close to) this where you go. If you have ever been to the “the Deli” in Herndon this place is exact replica. They are almost identical! Either way the service and hospitality was great and sandwich even better. My only knock was that I wish they would add more meat in their sub which “the Deli” does a better job at. I had the crazy italian as you can see. I had taken a picture of the sub but I now cannot find it but did however find pictures of the place. Its kept clean and I would not mind eating in. If I find the picture of the sub, I will make sure I’ll update my post

I heard so much about RJ’s Deli I had to try it. It was all I was told and more. W.O.W. the service, the taste of the meat, the variety, and the overall experience was beyond amazing!!!! COME/ RUN TO THIS PLACE. It is clean, organized, and just a wonderful family owned business.
