The food was all amazing! Be sure to try the meatballs, ravioli, and sauce which are made from family recipes when you go – they are absolutely delicious!
We really appreciated how the owners were especially welcoming – their friendly attentiveness made us feel like very special guests. We also want to thank our server, Raphael, for his great service and making our experience so memorable!
We came as a group of five and Selma was our server—wow. She was absolutely amazing. From the moment we sat down, she made sure we were well taken care of, let us sample wines from the menu, and was incredibly patient, caring, and genuinely friendly. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it made the whole experience even better.
The food was outstanding. The crab cake was incredible, and every single one of us ordered a steak—perfectly cooked and unbelievably delicious. Seriously some of the best steak we’ve had.
And don’t skip dessert. They were just as amazing as everything else.
Can’t wait to come back. This place is a must.
A nice lady checked on us shortly after sitting at our table. She wanted to ensure we were happy with the table and welcomed us to the restaurant. After talking for a while about the differences between the 2 locations she excused herself and went to another table to check on them. The waiter greeted us, we ordered drinks and our food.
The lump crabmeat appetizer is served on a sizzling hot dish and lives up to the description of being 96% large lump crabmeat. Check my picture… The pasta is made every day. The linguine is buttery, supple and cooked perfectly! Paired with the shrimp Fra Diavolo it was amazing! Just the right amount of seasoning to excite different parts my tongue and not over power the large delicate shrimp.
Imagine tender Wagyu beef ground and pan seared into small bite size pieces. Now cover that with a meaty red sauce served over fresh pasta. That is their presentation for Pasta Bolognese, and it is impressive! Again, just the right amount of seasoning to complement the dish and satisfy the pallet.
I am looking forward to our next visit and introducing our friends to this amazing family owned restaurant.
Oh, the friendly lady I mentioned at the beginning of this review is Sissy Rizzuto, wife of Jack Rizzuto that not only own the place but oversee every aspect of customer satisfaction and employee engagement. We’ve been to many family owned restaurants in the area. Very few have owners that are as engaged and personable as Sissy! You have to meet her in person to appreciate the love she has for customers and staff.
I highly encourage you to visit here!
The service was unprofessional and inattentive. Our server repeatedly forgot parts of our order, and there were significant delays with both the appetizers and main courses. The quality of the food itself was also far below expectations. The bread was stale and hard, the meatballs were cold and appeared undercooked, and the Caesar salad was served with virtually no dressing. Our “medium well” steak was severely undercooked and not hot at all. The chicken parmesan lacked flavor entirely and resembled a frozen, pre-made product rather than a freshly prepared dish.
To add to the frustration, several flavored cocktails listed on the menu were apparently unavailable, which was not communicated until after we attempted to order them.
Overall, what was meant to be a special Valentine’s celebration turned into a very disappointing dining experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both the quality of the food and the level of service provided to guests.
Definitely will NOT be returning!
