When my order was ready I confirmed what it was and left. I get home, open my order, and it is wrong. Not really a big deal, this happens. I did not want what they gave me though, and called them to let them know they gave me the wrong order.
This is where things got wild. I was told that my order was correct, and that I was wrong. Kind of weird. I then asked for either a refund or for them to send someone to deliver the right order. I was rudely told in a mocking voice that the customer was always right even though this was my fault. She then asked for my address and said they would deliver the right order right away. Fine.
An hour goes by and nothing. I call them back and the same lady answers and says she is going to have her manager call me. They had never sent anyone I guess, they just waited to see if I would call them? The manager calls me after like 15 minutes and holy cow he was unhinged. He borderline yells at me, tells me “they have the technology to confirm and verify my order and that I am wrong.” OK that is super weird to say, especially when I ordered by phone. I am pretty surprised to learn they illegally record customer conversations, but whatever, I know what I ordered and their illegal voice recording would confirm that they had made a mistake.
I am assuming he was just making that up, because when I told him they couldn’t record customers without their consent or without their knowledge he became irate and kept yelling “I know everything!!!”
He then walked that back and said that his employee of 5 years does not make mistakes.
Honestly just a totally absurd experience and not sure if I am being pranked or not given how outlandish the situation is.
I will not be returning, and they can deal with my bank when a chargeback is issued.
Lastly, the food was also overpriced and the chicken was dried out and stringy.
Edit: Updating given the owner’s response. We clearly disagree on what I ordered. I don’t really understand that since I know what I ordered and I know I confirmed it with you upon picking it up. As I mentioned, I was not going to spend another 25 minutes driving back, picking up food, and driving back home because my order was wrong. The cashier said they would send someone out to drop off the wrap and to pick up the food. I said great, that is a reasonable solution. She just never did that which is why I called back after an hour. She was also not polite, she was incredibly rude and kept blaming me. I am not updating the review to include the, unconsumed, sub – you can see in the background is my original review, and you can also see the timestamp on my computer. It was uneaten at the time of our consumption, and it is uneaten now, as clearly shown in the photo. Yes, I did take a single bite to see if I could eat it rather than call back and exchange it for a wrap. As I said earlier, it was very dry and stringy and, since it was not what I ordered I did not want it.
I think this clearly shows how unprofessional you are and that you are a liar.
I would avoid this place.
Edit 2: now he is just lying more and spewing nonsense. I leave a review when someone is absolutely horrendous. I’ve left like 3 others in my life and they are all like 3-5 years apart.
I won’t be engaging again, and won’t be deleting this review as you have asked.
Also, the restaurant inside is very clean, which we always appreciate.
Beef was excellent. Fresh, well prepared and flavorful. Roll needed to be griddled a little better but over all this was a really good beef.
I didn’t like the pizza roll but it’s not a big deal. I’ll get something else next time. And there will definitely be a ‘next time’. I recommend that everyone gives these guys a shot.
The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can really feel the care they put into both the food and the experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!
