Rizzo’s owner George Rozopoulos opened his first store in Peabody in 2006 and now there are 5 Rizzo’s locations – Peabody, Salem, Lowell, Wilmington and Middleton. George has sold most of the other locations to hard working families who share George’s high standards for his restaurants: Serving great tasting, high quality food and providing excellent service. George developed this passion while accompanying his father on Saturdays to the family business, the Ocean Delight Restaurant which was famous in the 70’s 80’s and 90’s. The action in the kitchen and bringing so much joy to customers inspired him to follow his father into the restaurant business when he got older.

I’ve driven past this spot for a while now always telling myself one day im going to stop and try the pizza¡¡ Today was that day¡¡ They always caught my attention because of its classy exterior and I just had to know if the food matched the exterior, and the answer is YES the pizza was delicious, it was a very filling, heavy & loaded Meat Lovers Pizza. After 2 slices I was pretty full, I did manage to save room for mozzarella sticks which were close to perfection along with the chunky marinara sauce¡¡ For some reason the taco salad stood out on the menu, probably because I’ve never seen one on a menu before. It was very good & different. It didn’t taste as exotic as i was thinking it would. All in all i would recommend this establishment to any pizza lovers¡¡¡ I only ordered 3 items from the extensive menu so curiosity will certainly bring me back to try a few other items that caught my eye. The service was top notch, very friendly & attentive. Our food was ready reasonably fast as well. All items pictured plus two drinks cost us $72.00

I should have read the reviews…. my wife wanted pizza and I wanted a steak, mushroom and cheese sub. Pizza was decent, flavor and crust decent, lite on the cheeses and toppings so a lot of dough. The sub was TERRIBLE. It was as if they cooked it and then put it into a blender. There wasn’t a visible piece of a mushroom in it, I think there was cheese because I tasted it… I think, but basically it was a mush sub. The roll was good, portion size was “eh” but I threw it away anyway. A large pizza and the sub were $39. Pizza didn’t come close to filling the box. Kept sliding around as I drove the 2 miles home. Do NOT get the chicken tender dinner. A chicken tender kids meal costs $7 cones with fries and 3 tenders. For $10 more you can get yourself a chicken tender dinner, mostlikely comes with more tenders since is an adult dinner correct? No, you get 1 extra tender and more fries for $10 extra. Yeah they are a joke and the tenders aren’t even homemade they are restaurant depot bought. So for $17 straight up garbage. Boston Chowda has a tender basket of homemade chicken tenders with homemade French fries for $11. I called the place and the guy said yeah man unfortunately they tell us to only put 4 tenders. Joke

I have stopped at Rizzos three times in the past few months. The food was what I would expect from a local sub/pizza shop. What I have had was decent, but nothing special. But the reason, I gave them 5 stars is the place is immaculate. It’s been spotlessy clean and in perfect repair. Even the open kitchen is spotless. Keep up the good work.

I don’t know what the bad reviews are talking about. I stopped here on a whim yesterday and got the best roast beef 3 way I’ve had. I have today off and I came from 4 towns away to eat here again. Got a buffalo finger sub today and it was fantastic. The inside is modern and clean. Staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and the pricing is very fair for the quality of food. Would recommend to my closest friends and family to come here!

First time there and I am now a lifetime member of the I love Rizzo’s club. The roast beef sandwiches were amazing, the sauce was perfect, the rolls fresh. The crispy dinner fries to die for. Thank you for doing what you do.
