We made reservations 3 weeks ago & drove an hour to get here. Rizzo’s has been on my list for the last couple years and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Food and service were phenomenal. The atmosphere was small & intimate. We wanted to try a little bit of everything and had tons of leftovers to bring home. The caesar salad & penne a la vodka were our favourites. We will absolutely be back!

I’d been wanting to try Rizzo’s for several years now. Finally got a chance to try it and the meal totally met my expectations. The meals are thoughtfully made, have very nice presentation, and have perfect portion sizes. I loved the eggplant parm, but also tried bites of the piccata, lasagna, and gnocchi. You can’t go wrong with anything here. The salads and broccoli were also great. Excellent service and we loved the interior design. Looking forward to our next visit!

We were lucky enough to dine in here on weekday night sometime few days ago.

We tried calling the restaurant a bunch of times few days earlier to make a reservation but no one answered our calls. Then we just decided to walk in and hope for the best. Explained our situation to the host with the call logs, the host was really nice and squeezed us in for a table of 2 last minute with an hour wait time.

Heard a lot of good things about this institution in Fort Erie (maybe Ridgeway). I was really excited to try the chicken parm at the restaurant, we also got mozzarella sticks which we head a lot about. The food was good, but nothing exceptional that I experienced. For our appetizer we got the broccolini and mozzarella sticks, they were nice and oily, seasoned broccolini was also very tasty. The marinara sauce was really good. Now for eggplant and chicken parm, portions were decent for the price. Quality was good, we had the table next to the kitchen where we could watch our food being prepared. The service was quick, so was the food coming out of the kitchen. The only thing that stuck with me was when we ordered a bunch of different dishes, they all seemed to have the same or similar base tomato sauce. It felt like having different versions of the same dish. I wish we had more variety to try.

The cannoli was wonderful and maybe the best part of the whole meal. Hazelnut crème and Lemon both were delicious giant cannoli! I would definitely say it’s a must have. The presentation for all the dishes was great. Our server also did a good job. There was always a lot of rush around the restaurant it was packed all the time.

Overall, this restaurant is definitely a place I would visit once for its cozy family friendly dining experience, but remember the experience might way weigh a little more on your wallet than you might like too.

Our first time at Rizzo’s House of Parm and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We had the burrata (the crispy focaccia was perfect), and the calamari, which was honestly the best I’ve ever had, super seasoned and delicious.

For mains, we got the penne alla vodka, chicken parm, tagliatelle bolognese, and spaghetti pomodoro. Every dish was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. We finished with the tiramisu, which is a must-have. Service was amazing, our server checked in often, refreshed plates and cutlery, and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend this place! I’ll definitely be back.

If you’re looking for an incredible dining experience tucked away from the main Niagara crowds, House of Parm is a must-visit. We had a fantastic family dinner here and were blown away by the quality.

The Atmosphere & Service
The space is modern, intimate, and beautifully lit—bright enough to feel lively but small enough to feel personal. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server was incredible: super attentive, checked in frequently, and made us feel right at home.
It is also exceptionally kid-friendly, which isn’t always easy to find in a place this stylish.

The Food: A Cheese Lover’s Dream
The menu strikes a perfect balance—plenty of variety without being overwhelming. We started with a Caesar salad because the table was starving, and it arrived almost immediately, which was a total lifesaver!
For the Kids:
The kids’ meals are a great value (they even come with a free drink!). Our kids had the Mac & Cheese, and it was a “cheesy delight”—rich, creamy, and made with actual real cheese.

For the Adults (Family Style):
Sides: We loved the broccolini and the perfectly prepared calamari.
The Mains: We shared the Lasagna, Ravioli, and Tricia’s Ricotta Shells.
The Standout: The Penne alla Vodka with shrimp was the star of the show. The texture was spot on, and that subtle chili kick really made the meal.

The Verdict
Everything was incredibly flavorful and generously cheesy. House of Parm is a true hidden gem. Whether you’re a local or just passing through the Niagara area, do yourself a favor and book a table!

It is recommended to have a reservation and luckily we did, as even though there was poor weather the place was pretty full and I had made reservations three weeks prior with only the bar seating available.

We arrived 15 minutes early and our seats were ready and waiting for us. We started with one server and by the end we had interacted with three different individuals. We could speak to any one of them and they would be happy to help rather than other places where one may put the owness on the original server and the customer is stuck waiting.

The food was amazing, we had the Calamari to start, and then for mains we had Chicken Parm, Penne alla Vodka and Rigatoni Carbonara. There were two of us and we could barely make a dent in the mains but that just meant we could enjoy it all over again at home.

On our way out we had a mishap and all our leftovers fell to the ground. The staff saw and immediately told us to come back inside and they made us our mains all over again in to go boxes. No other place I have gone to has ever done this.

We are not from the area but have waited years to get to experience Rizzo’s House of Parm and it did not disappoint. I will be raving about this to my friends and family and we cannot wait to come back whenever that may be! If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would and next time we intend on trying desserts as well!

Have been wanting to try this place forever and it did not disappoint! We drove 45 minutes each way on the hope they’d have a table (they did, but it was packed so reservations are a much better idea). The place looks very unassuming from the outside, but it feels like you’re eating in a warm family home as soon as you come inside. We figured because the place was associated with Matty Matheson that the food would be good, but it was beyond expectation. Everything, from bread as a starter, to Trish’s Shells and the Eggplant Parm for dinner (perfection), to cheesecake for dessert was excellent. They were able to make mocktails for us that tasted just as good if not better than an alcoholic drink. The service was fast and friendly, and the icing on the cake was a sweeet “Congratulations” card from the restaurant as we were celebrating a babymoon. Just the small touches made an otherwise perfect dining experience even better. If it weren’t so far from home, we’d be back sooner, but this will become a must-return next time we’re in the Niagara area.

WOW OH WOW!! Food? absolutely delicious!!
Service? absolutely the best!!
Friendly staff? Super friendly!
Clean? Superb!!

We were on a quick vacation from NC and saw the reviews of Rizzo’s House of Parm and head to try it. We were so glad we did. By far the best dinner we had in Canada.

Some of the best Italian food we’ve ever eaten. We had calamari, cheese sticks for appetizers. I honestly don’t know what we all had for the main course, we all ate out of each other’s plates and it was all fantastic! I would highly recommend reservations as it is a smaller restaurant.

Trust me, go! Taste and see for yourself!!!

This was the objective of our group visit to the Niagara region. I had never heard of this place in my life. But once I was asked if I wanted to travel for food, I said sure, why not. We even went as far a booking a hotel in the region so we could stay overnight after the meal was over. It was the right call.

Busy place, but lively. We got a preset meal.
All the dishes and side dishes were amazing. I would say the best Chicken and Egg Plant Parmesan I’ve ever had. The sides and the Burrata was great. And I think a few of my friends would also share the same opinion. We all had a great time. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Service was great. I don’t know when I’ll be in the region again. But if I am, I would try to make it out here to eat again. Reserve in advance. There is usually a long waitlist to get in. We booked a month in advance and planned accordingly.

That being said, it was all worth it.

What an incredible experience! We attended Rizzo’s for dinner as part of a bachelorette party.

Although our dinner was family style due to our party size, everything was so incredibly delicious and fresh!

A few standout items were the Matty’s Salad, Penne A La Vodka, and the meatballs. John was our server and he took great care of us. He was super kind and friendly and made the whole experience that much better.

I would highly recommend Rizzos!
