Last night I had the opportunity to attend one of Rizotto’s Italian Eatery & Sweetery’s Fine Wine and Food pairing dinners. Over 85 people enjoying some great NY state german style wines, paired with some of the most creative, beutiful and purely decadent food. Five courses, Five wines….in a elegant atmosphere. The cusine was a German/Italian focus and the wines were from Weis Vineyards from the Finger Lakes. I was able to catch a few photos before it all started. Great evening.

The food? Just extraordiary….the people were remarkable and attentive, very professional staff and the wine? Well, check them out – Weis Vineyards on Keuka Lake, the number one winery in New York in 2022,2024 and 2025. The food was just too amazing to even attempt to describe….yeah….I’d do that again!

I booked this venue for a bridal shower, expecting a joyful, stress-free celebration. Instead, it was an infuriating ordeal from start to finish that left us humiliated and scrambling. The employee double-booked our reserved space, forcing us into a lesser area with zero apology or compensation. We were barred from bringing our own cake and mandated to use their kitchen. Then they told us we had to pay a delivery fee to the new location. After arguing, they finally agreed to transfer it without the fee.

I spoke directly with Kelly, their cake decorator, detailing the exact design we wanted and was promised confirmation. It never arrived. When we called back, we learned Kelly no longer worked there. There was no warning and no follow-through, so I had to re-explain everything from scratch. When the cake finally showed up, it was handled without gloves, looked nothing like what I had requested, and the delivery person jammed their finger straight through the front while setting it down, leaving a glaring gouge in plain sight. Not a single “sorry.”

At billing, despite our receipt proving the $1,100+ initial payment was paid, the staff claimed the manager was out, the payment was not in their system, and asked us to leave our credit card number to be charged “in a few days.” We refused and demanded immediate resolution. It took endless hassle to finally sort out, but nothing was done about the mangled, incorrect cake.

This place is a disorganized, unprofessional disaster with zero regard for customers. Do not host your event here. You will regret it.

Food was very bland, not much flavor at all. I ordered the salmon, asparagus and it came with a mushy white rice and spinach. I really enjoyed the music.

Loved the live music there. Maria Sebastian was amazing.
When it comes to food, I really enjoyed my shrimp and scallop risotto and this place has a great wine selection. Calamari is highly recommend as a starter.

My wife and I tried Rizotto during restaurant week and it was a very good experience.

We went a little early then our reservation for a pre-dinner drink and sat in the “lounge” area at the bar. The bartender, Craig, introduced himself and welcomed us to the place and really made a great first impression. He told my wife that I had called earlier and wanted to make sure I wished her a Happy Sweetest day!! He went over the menu and the different courses and gave us a recommendation for the Chicken dish.

My wife and I decided to stay at the bar to eat because it was roomy and the bartender was very gracious.

The dinners were very good and filling. I got the chicken dish and my wife got the 6oz filet that was cooked perfectly. We took home the desserts.

Thanks Rizotto for making it a nice night.

We first came here for their limited Valentines menu and enjoyed our time. Sadly, it could have been just the day we visited the second time, but we came here for dinner around 7pm which they seemed not that busy. They were out of several dinner dishes and our waitress seemed rather frazzled and rushed. The meatball appetizer was delicious and the best meal for us. My partner found his chicken parm mediocre and my ravioli was pretty good. I would order something differently next time if we return.

Food was good but it took over an hour for our meals to come out. Service was awful. Our waitress treats treated us like we were a burden, never asked if we wanted any drinks before ordering, and we had to wave her down to get bread 45 minutes after sitting. We also had to wave down a busboy to refill our waters after an hour and a half of sitting, and they had all been empty for a while. No one came to check on us at any point to ask if we needed anything or how the food was. We enjoyed the food, seemed to be priced well, however we would not return as me and my group of 6 were all greatly dissatisfied with the service.

Buffet event. Food was awful. Chicken Francese, i think was dry chicken fingers.
Bread came with no butter but a shot glass of weird oil. Carrots were rock hard with the Veg mix. Pepsi from the bar tasted like Tonic water. The Mens Restroom toilet bowl was black and unclean .

We were fortunate enough to experience the last night of restaurant week at Rizottos. Mike sat our Party of 5 around 7pm on a Sunday night. Plenty of options off Restaurant week Specials Menu. I just was hoping for a Vegatarian option and didn’t see any. With that being said, they have an enormous sized appetizer/salad list to start off our dinner then dessert. We were able to choose 1 smaller pizza, or 3 items from course 1 list. Let me just say our Server “Derek” was Phenomenal.. Derek was beyond Professional, Fun and attentive to all our questions/concerns on Menu. Course 2, were the Main dinner options, Chicken Milanese, Pork with Polenta & asparagus, Ribeye, and so much more.. Derek kept appearing at our table to make sure we were drooling and enjoying our every bite. I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced service this Good. Derek should be training every server in WNY. His bubbly personality kept us smiling as we waited a bit for our Main course. If they were out of an item, Derek let us know. He kept the bread coming if needed too. In all fairness it was their last night serving the Restaurant week Menu. Everyone of my family members was enjoying their food and with dessert (Course 3) we received a complimentary shot of Limoncello, Derek offered my teenage son a shot of lemonade. Derek gave us $10.oo off 2 dinner coupons. My parents already went back. Such a Great Experience, huge restaurant, bar and banquet facility. With sensitive eyes, the lighting was just right, not bright in your eyes and easy to read Menus. When there’s a chill in the air, the fire places are on.. If you need to drop anyone off at front door, pull up your car under shelter area. Oh and I recommend a Reservation~
