The absolute best curry in Lincoln. We enjoy takeout from here immensely. As a vegetarian it can be hard to find food that isn’t boring and Riyaz delivers flavours that are perfect. The rest of the family enjoy meat and not one of them is left disappointed.

APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE
I ordered a takeaway from their website for home delivery, paid by card, and received all the usual notifications including expected delivery time, but the delivery never arrived. I rang every half hour but communication was terrible – they didn’t understand me and I found it hard to understand them. Sometimes they hung up on me. Usually they said it would ‘be 5 minutes’ and they were very busy. I eventually asked for a refund but they didn’t seem to understand that either. So no takeaway delivery, no refund and shocking customer service. I thought maybe the transaction would have been cancelled by them or a refund arranged as clearly I hadn’t received what I paid for, but the transaction went through on my card. So 2 days later I tried to visit in person so I could show them the order on my phone but they weren’t open, although according to their opening hours they should have been. I’ve never had such a frustrating experience. Avoid at all costs.

I’ve been ordering from Riyaz Indian Takeaway for over 10 years and they’ve never let me down. The food is always tasty and consistent, delivery is quick, and the staff are polite and courteous every time. I’ve tried other takeaways, but Riyaz is easily number one for me. Highly recommended!

VILE. Do not eat FROM HERE. Food quality is shocking. Meat is tough, saturated in oil and tastes asif the oil has been over used.
No refund issued on the basis the food was taste tested, yet this was misconstrued by workers to manager that half the food has been eaten.
Go else where and dont order overall professionalism is terrible.

Mainly leaving this review to say thank you to the brilliant staff at Riyaz for the incredible food and service (ordered through Uber but couldn’t leave a review).
Absolutely amazing food as always and brilliant value for money! About third time ordering from here and is a treat night favourite. Ordered through Uber and they accidentally missed off an item but we just rang up to let them know and they apologised and offered to make us more give us two portions instead of one and deliver them to us! Really quickly arrived back with the food and apologies and it was all absolutely delicious! We are two very happy people tonight thank you Riyaz. 🙂

I ordered a curry for a treat for tea in hotel.
The poppadoms were chewy and stale not fresh.
The chicken was undercooked, pink and jelly like
The lamb starter was rubbery and cold
The rice was Luke warm at best
The nan had the least coconut I’ve ever had for a peruwawi nan
The delivery was fast enough
They didn’t answer the phone a few times I called
The food hygiene rating is a 3
The place I haven’t seen but guessing it’s not the nicest
Won’t be ordering again
Feel like bene ripped off and I got a deal
