I ordered Enchiladas de Pollo and Street Corn with a Dr. Pepper. They provided chips and salsa. The chips had too much seasoning for my liking. I asked for my Enchiladas to be light on sauce, and I am glad I did because the taste of it was a bit strong on the flavor of it. I liked the rice more than the beans. The Street Corn was really good. Overall, I enjoyed my Enchiladas and Street Corn the most. We ate outside, and it was nice with all the colorful tables and butterfly art on the wall. The server was attentive and friendly. Thank you!

All the way around great experience, Food, service, and atmosphere. It is the most inexpensive but that isn’t inexpensive by any means. All of Gaylord restaurants are pricey so be prepared for that. Ask to be seated in Danielle’s section SHE IS OUTSTANDING!

So a 15 minute wait turned into 45 minutes and had to complain that all the large groups that came after have already been seated. Then advised we need to rush now to get a person ready for prom. They brought her food fast then we ordered and it took forever. When it came cheese that was to be on taco was on salad, and item sauce on side came with it on. We had to just eat and dash. Hope this is not how our entire time here will be.

Located inside the Gaylord on the bottom floor of the atrium along their “river”. They really do a good job of mimicking the feel of a restaurant along The Riverwalk in San Antonio. The food is the chefs own version of different Mexican and Tex-Mex fare. It does have good flavoring and is of a high quality. During busier times of the year they will offer a buffet in lieu of a menu. They do a relatively good job of keeping the buffet food as fresh as menu items. Just be prepared to spend a little and don’t sleep on the desserts.

Large tex-mex buffet. The location is fantastic. You feel like you are sitting near the river in San Antonio, but you are in the AC! Come hungry because they have a lot of food to try and a large table of mini desserts. Service was amazing. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

I live in the area and enjoy a staycation experience. I know good texmex. This exceed my expectations! The al pastor tacos were on point, if you offer chicken thigh tacos marinade in heaven then yes please! Black beans.. yummm I will be back not just to stay but to eat!!

The large meat platter was FANTASTIC! Varied and the different sauces were a nice accompaniment. Giovanni came to our table as we were finishing and was so kind and gracious and offered our kids dessert. Overall, a very nice dining experience.

This restaurant is great. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasing. Everyone at the table got their own salsa with chips. The portions were the perfect size. My barbacoa tacos were loaded with meat. The beans were delicious! If you are staying at the Gaylord Texan, I would highly recommend the Riverwalk Cantina!

My husband and I were able to choose from a few vegan options at this restaurant (enfrijoladas, veggies fajitas, black bean tacos, etc). Food and service were great! Juan Carlos was our server and helped us with the food options they had available for us. We are so thankful!
