Everytime I’m in the area, I make it a point to visit the Riverview Cafe. It’s a family establishment that has been around for a long time. I found this little restaurant in 2017 and the quality of food atmosphere, and friendly staff hasn’t changed. My go to favorite is the cod but you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Their hush puppies are amazing and they have fantastic homemade tarter sauce. Give them a try the next time you’re nearby and you won’t be disappointed.

Four of us each had a different dish. Flounder, oysters, shrimp, and clams.All were delicious. I had the whole fried clams.They were so good, as was the clam chowder. The chowder was not the usual New England or Manhattan style that you get in most restaurants. It was just clams, potatoes, bacon, and clam broth. Delicious!!! Linda, our waitress was delightful and efficient. We had a great experience for lunch!!!

This was a nice overcast afternoon. We got there at 11, right when they opened. Before the meal, they brought us delicious hush puppies! I got shrimp, fried okra, & rice. Everything was great. My BF got steak & baked potato. He ate every bit. The steak was beautiful with a buttery glaze. Our waitress was very attentive. Great outing.

Riverview Cafe is Awesome! The food was amazing, the service and people were so friendly. We had the Stump Sound Oysters and they were fresh and cooked perfectly! The fried oysters were just as good, cooked perfectly and tasted sooooo good! The shrimp was fresh and tasted wonderful! Absolutely a must go! Oh and no words for how good the Key Lime Pie was! Remember it’s sea food it’s pricey but the service and atmosphere along with the taste is so worth it!
