This was another solid find while visiting Baltimore. Riverside Taphouse absolutely delivered! Our waiter recommended the crab dip egg rolls and they were the highlight of the meal — crispy, packed with flavor, and stuffed with rich, creamy crab dip that screams Baltimore. Honestly, I’d come back just for those alone.
I also ordered the Fatboy Fried Chicken (“FBF”) Sandwich, and it was exactly what this fat boy was hoping for — perfectly fried, juicy, and stacked with the right amount of sauce and crunch. Total comfort food perfection.
Highly recommend if you’re hungry and want a guaranteed good time!

This restaurant was a great experience from start to finish. The donuts with duck fat icing were outstanding—perfectly crunchy and sweet on the outside with a rich, indulgent flavor. The hamburger was juicy and satisfying, and the Philly egg rolls were especially impressive, delivering a crunchy bite packed with bold, savory flavor. On top of the excellent food, the wait staff were pleasant, attentive, and made the meal even more enjoyable. I would definitely come back and recommend this spot to others.

Absolutely amazing food, great service and fantastic time. This was the first time going here. Had the crab cake egg roll. They made me a crab cake Caesar wrap. (Fyi not in the menu) The . The Brussels sprouts off the chain. Give it 6 stars ⭐️ if I could. And they have options for out door seating. You won’t be disappointed.

Riverside Taphouse is awesome!! The food was amazing, the staff were so friendly and the all around vibe was chill. I couldn’t decide what to order as everything sounded so good. I look forward to coming back and trying other menu items. We ended up trying the cheeseburger egg rolls, mac and cheese egg rolls and the buffalo chicken egg rolls. The ranch that came with the cheeseburger egg rolls was so fresh and tasty. The homemade creamy tomato soup that came with the mac and cheese egg rolls was absolutely delicious!!! The sweet potato fries were also very good and usually I’m not a fan of those. It’s a little pricey but I think it’s worth it for how fresh and delectable the food is. Make sure to stop by if you are in the area!!!

This is a lovely spot to share a meal and a beer (or few) with some friends after a long day. The draft list is decent – more on the lighter-ale end the last time I visited, which makes sense because it’s getting warmer out.
The food is superb! Everything that we ordered was filling and decadent, though not too heavy. I was also surprised at number of options – this is definitely not a typical brewery with boring pub fare.
Service was a little slow, but I’m glad that we didn’t feel rushed out the door. The vibe is very laid-back, and I’m glad that there’s a place where I can spend time with neighbors away from the rowdier bars further north. Can’t wait to come back and try more 🙂

This place is fantastic and Helen is a ROCKSTAR behind the bar. I always check a place’s website before going. If you check theirs, it’s not ‘theirs’ – some sort of tech issue. Something told me to try anyway. I’m glad i did! Among other awesome things on their menu, they have in-house smoked meats. I had a house-smoked turkey club at Rockst…I mean, Helen’s, recommendation. It was terrific. I could taste the Smokey wood chip flavor in every bite. Their coleslaw was great too. Theirs is a little lighter on the mayo with a hint of grain mustard. It was refreshing and delicious. This place was great and I will return anytime I’m back in Baltimore!

Different Cheesesteak #1201. I got the White Truffle Lamb Cheesesteak. 1st my old man rant, I can’t believe what people are paying for craft beer/food. ‘Do you want sweet potato fries with that?’ Implied fries come with the cheesesteak. Back to our regularly scheduled review. I love what is going on down on the Baltimore Peninsula. I saw ‘Baltimore Peninsula’ painted on the side of a building so I assumed they were talking about the area I was in. Fun place, good crowd and good energy. The description of the WTL cheesesteak sounded very good. It did not pass the eye test. I expected the roll to be sub (philly) par and it was. It didn’t look good but it tasted amazing. All the parts worked very well together. The sweet potato fries were probably worth the extra $2.50. $20 for the WTL Cheesesteak, $2.50 for fries and $8.75 for a draft. If you follow me you know I am not a fan of these prices. With that said, I will be back to try the Short Rib Grilled Cheese and Mac & Beer Cheese w/crumbled bacon. The bartender was pleasant and professional.

One of the best hidden gems in Baltimore. Tucked away at the far end of Light St. Wrapped around a small yet busy cross section. I was surprised at how big this place was. I already had the menu studies and opted for the LAMB CHEESESTEAK! Not disappointed at all. I paired it with house ‘slaw a Shirley temple and of course a cold local IPA. My lady ordered OLD BAY wings and get this….WHITE TRUFFLE FRIES! Oh my goodness! I died and went to culinary heaven. Great place great atmosphere friendly staff. Check them out!

Loved it! Great service, great atmosphere. Three was a family of 4 right by us with 2 young children eating and hanging out. They looked line they were having fun. Food was great and quick. The server lady was awesome.
