This is a small restaurant and quite plain on the inside. However, their food was absolutely delicious! We had shrimp, coleslaw, garlic potatoes, fries, and corn on the cob and everything was great! Prices were reasonable and the young lady who took our order and was the cashier was very polite and friendly. There’s no fine China but who cares….the food was GREAT! We’re just visiting town but will likely eat here again.

Service was great. We used the drive-thru. The lady that took our oder was very sweet. I ordered conch fritters and very disappointed! It wasn’t even fritters, those were mini conch balls and they were BURT badly! TASTE HORRIBLE AND BURNT. Crazy they looked like that and the cooks still served it. Sweet tea was amazing tho!

Finally made it to the south side Riverside restaurant (Lakeland) for a quick bite, and so glad we did. My husband and I had an enjoyable time! Nice and clean and the gentleman who took our order was pleasant and friendly. And the food was delicious. Riverside is a good spot to stop for a taste of seafood and they will cook it to order, such as, fried or grilled. Thanks for a positive experience!

WOW!!! Food, service and atmosphere were amazing from the moment we walked in. The owner took my order and had some great recommendations. You can’t go wrong with the chicken pasta. Full of flavor, fresh and hot! Also tried one of my coworkers hush puppies and clam strips and I was shocked at how fresh the fry batter was. I will definitely be back to try some fried fish and shrimp! 10/10 recommend!!

If you ever wanted to go to a place that has real soul food without any flaw whatsoever, you will pick this place this place just popped up and I’m telling you if I had the money I would eat here every single day they constantly make food fresh their chicken, gizzards melting your mouth like chicken tenders. The staff is just absolutely phenomenal and every single time is a pleasure going to this place and I’m pleasantly surprised with the food that I buy and it’s such quality And they take care of their community as well. If you don’t eat here and support this small local business I really don’t think you need to live in Lakeland, Florida.

I have a new favorite place for seafood. Riverside is an unassuming diner with spectacular seafood. I stopped by on a whim to try out the seafood for Friday’s during Lent, but it will be hard not to return everyday of the week. I no longer want to cook my own food. I just want to eat at Riverside!!

We had a large group of 21 and they Accommodated us quickly. We were all served within 15 minutes of arriving. The food is outstanding and hot And I couldn’t ask for a better service. They keep the place very clean. We will definitely be back soon.
