I was very disappointed. The food is a hit or miss. I’ve been eating here since a child. This evening I ordered a Cheeseburger with extra seasoning and fries. The burger was unusually thin and had no flavor. When I asked about it they said it’s the same meat as usual. My order was not fixed and the food was wasted.

This place used to be so good but now the food is gross and they can never get the order right there has been a steady decline over the past few months. Forgetting bacon on a BCB (bacon cheese burger) is wild. I think they have new owners that have changed the restaurant and staff as well as the quality of the food

Locally owned and operated, this restaurant has become popular with some folks, but I wasn’t terribly impressed by my lunch experience.
My food (blackened shrimp had no seasoning on it) was lukewarm, bland, and not very exciting. My tablemate’s shrimp basket was hot and tasty. Possibly the pizza is their strong suit, but we didn’t try it.
Ordering at the counter when you first walk in is awkward if you don’t already know what you’re getting. Pepsi fountain drinks or canned soda are beverage options that I can live with, however. The ladies at the counter were quite pleasant. They didn’t badger us for tips, which is good since there isn’t actual table service. Paper towel rolls replace napkins and that’s fine for dining in.
Not the worst place to eat in Carteret County by any means, I recommend you try it yourself. Get the pizza, though. It ought to be good.

Woman cooking the food uses no gloves to protect your food. Stuck her hand in a big bowl of fries instead of using tongs. Touches everything and then handles your food.

The girl at the counter rolled her eyes. The Italian sub had no flavor- I had to add stuff to this sandwich to make it edible. There were no banana peppers. It was very soggy. When I told the young girl, she rolled her eyes.

Very friendly and fast service! Food was astounding! Today 9/20/22 their Internet was out! They could not use phones nor their cash register! But still took care of me quickly! Food came out quick and perfect as I ordered! Give them a break for Pete sake! They can’t help phones aren’t working due to internet! It’s very misleading when you rate a restaurant only 2 stars based primarily because of phones! If you want their food, get off the couch and go to the restaurant to get your food! They definitely got 5 stars from me! Thank you riverside!

Every time I order from here my order is wrong and my fries are always cold. I also have ordered a large fry and received a nearly empty to go box of fries that were also cold. I also have previously ordered the delight burger and received a very undercooked burger with just cheese on it and that has happened three times. Im officially done due to the fact of never getting what I order from here and the food always arrives cold.

The burger had no taste ! They gave me a sprinkle of fries. That were cold. How do I spend 30 dollars including tip. For a meal that wasn’t good. Manager also stated I was lucky to cause nobody wants to delivery to Millcreek . Even tho I tipped almost 10 dollars. Maybe just a bad experience but experience definitely didn’t meet any expectations.
