Recommend checking out this in the warmer months. Beautiful view of the Contoocook River and the historic wooden bridge! Italian sub was pretty good and a lot to choose from on menu. Local staff is always friendly

Absolutely delicious. The smell of pizza had drawn us to the restaurant after visiting the covered bridge, right by the restaurant. I’m glad we decided to give a try and no regret. Everything was super delicious

The staff are always really nice and since the management change the food has been absolutely delicious! The gluten free pizza is the best I’ve had so far, definitely the best food in this little town!

While waiting for our order, we watched an employee shaping dough into a pizza pan with her bare hands. The phone rang and she stopped what she was doing to answer it and take an order. She hung the phone back up, turned around and continued shaping the dough into the pan- without gloves and without washing her hands. A moment later, she swiped her hand across her nose and continued with her task. Another employee who was making salads (who did have gloves on) was wiping crumbs and food off a tray onto the floor and used the same hand and dove into a bucket of croutons to grab for the top of a salad. Owner also touches all kinds of equipment with his bare hands and then starts shaping pizza dough. We heard him tell the staff to “hurry up, it’s going to get busy soon “. I think the best thing to do would be to slow down and start serving more safely guys. Also, we have noticed consistently the staff is not very friendly (one here and there is cheerful) but a lot of them tend to just keep flashing dirty looks. Very uncomfortable especially if you are waiting for an order. We’ve looked past the attitudes for a long time but after the sanitary concerns today (and to be honest the bulk of our food ended up in the trash because it was not good), this is sadly no longer our favorite local pizza stop.

We have gotten food to go many times from Riverside Pizza. The pizza is delicious and seasoned well. We always prefer cheese pizza and this is some really great pizza.
We have tried the Fish and Chips and the portions was very generous and we had leftovers. The Fish and Chips is some of the best we have tried in NH.
The service is great and everyone is super friendly. We plan to dine in next time and invite a friend to join us. I am going to try the eggplant Parmesan dish.
I like that you can get sandwiches, entrees, salads and pizza. Also desserts too. Good menu with lots of choices and variety.
The restaurant is clean and I read on the website that they have live music on certain nights of the week for summer. Great idea and that is something we plan to check out before summer is over. Keep up the great work and we will see you soon.

Down to earth restaurant with good food at a fair price. Menu gas a number of more casual options including pizza and grinders both hot and cold. Features a number of pasta dishes as well. Ice cream window for outside service in summer as well. Food isn’t spectacular, but solid spot. It is counter order but very friendly and accommodating staff. Physical space could probably use a remodel but it is fine.

Both their subs and pizza are phenomenal! I would definitely say the best in NH by a long shot. Staff and owners are super friendly! Can’t say enough about this establishment and I would definitely recommend their food to anyone and everyone!

We first visited Riverside before it was purchased. It was previously known as Dimitri’s. The food was below average and we were excited for new ownership. Unfortunately, absolutely nothing changed.
This is the only pizza/sub shop in Hopkinton and when we’re in a pinch, we reluctantly order from here. The quality of the ingredients is sub par at best and on our most recent visit, I seem to have paid 7.55 for a small chicken finger sub, containing a single chicken finger. I think 3-4 would be normal, no?
How this place has a 4.5 on Google is unbelievable. It is mediocre at best and the portions are indicative of greedy ownership and/or poorly trained cooks.
Riverside, just because you’re the only option here doesn’t mean you have to sell terrible food. I would buy a sub from you every week if it was a solid 7/10. Please do better.
