Nice place to stay and price is good. The room is clean and water get warm so fast. We meet the owner and she is so friendly accommodating us. They dont have room service for food but you can always call to order and pick it up and their food is delicious. I love their vanilla ice cream. The staff name Chad is so friendly and who always ask if we need something. The place is highly recommended.

Nice little diamond in the rough. Basic fare made with great care. The place is divided in half, with bar on one side, restaurant on the other. The night we were there, the restaurant side was shut down for lack of a server, but they opened it up for the 8 of us. Try any version of the bbq beef brisket. Reasonably priced, tasty food. Caring employees. Well worth the stop.

Great hotel in beautiful area. Lots of parks around and only a few miles from Oakland. Very clean hotel with comfortable beds. Loved the restaurant and bar on the property. The employees and the patrons were very friendly there.

Room was exceptionally clean, bed was comfortable. I’ve stayed at many big brand hotels and this one competes in every way but wins on price, definitely worth staying here. Went next door to the restaurant the food was great with awesome service also at a reasonable price. Place was not busy but it was a Thursday night and out of season. Traveled for work and will be back.

Great spot for a meal and drinks. We stopped midafternoon for sandwiches and drinks which were all great! We also met Stephanie (owner) who was super nice, running bar and tables, and jokingly wondering if she’s taken on too much. Go stop in and help her know her (and the staff) efforts are well worth it! We’ll be back.

Perfect spot for a nice casual dinner. We own a vacation home in Terra Alta, WV and like to check out new restaurants for dinners. We really enjoyed our meal here, delicious food, perfect portion sizes so that you can finish your meal, feel full, and not have a bunch of leftovers to throw away. Our server was great, food came out quick, restaurant was nice and clean, live music was setting up, and we got a table right away. It was a nice spot to find in Oakland so we didn’t have to drive all the way into Deep Creek. Will be back for sure! 🙂

Got a room for the night. The rooms are nice and clean. We walked next door to the saloon/restaurant to have dinner, and the food was good. Only complaint is it took a little too long for the food. We walked over to the bar side and had drinks. Bartenders were friendly. Played some country music on the jukebox and got to dance to some good country music. We’ll definitely be back!

Wings were undercooked. Food and drinks are not worth the price. The owners lack of professionalism really kills the atmosphere. I highly suggest visiting one of the local bars within a short distance down the road like the VFV or Sportmans and supporting the nonprofit organizations who give back to our community.

Great place! Owner didn’t like how our sandwich was cooking and he came put and explained everything. We were okay with it and ordered something else and he gave us a drink on the house. Excellent service. Thank you Riverside. We will definitely be back!
