My wife and i love to eat at the Riverside when we visit Patrick SFB. Always a great selection of HEALTHY items. Great burgers…..but they did recently stop making Turkey Burgers available. Disappointing as those were very good and more healthy than the all beef burgers. Prices are VERY reasonsble

Location is great if you can get on Patrick SFB. We just had dinner and plan to go back for other meals as we’re staying at the Fam-Camp Campground nearby. Can’t beat the price! Food was good, but I’d put it on the level of dorm food…not bad and serves the purpose.

Sometimes the servers don’t give good portions of food. Although there is a large quanity of meat or vegetables left with not a lot of people in dining facility and within 30 mins of closing. I don’t mind paying for larger servings but not offered unless the chef is available to allow more than an ouce of meet on a taco. Upsetting. But price and food is good.

I’ve chowed in many mess halls over my career. This ranks at the top. Love sitting waterside. The staff is very nice. But this old timer wishes KP duty was still a thing.

Food was decent and yummy. Service was okay. Some of the cooks had squabbles behind the grill. The fact that they didn’t take it to the back wasn’t the worst thing, but it could be seen as unprofessional. The atmosphere eating outside was serene. It’s screened in and covered.

The food is good and the people are doing their best but the portions are kind of poor. I remember the days when military members could come in and you just say what you wanted. So it’s a bit of a gross disappointment to see everything portioned and served for guys that are 18 and 19-year-olds working on trying to stay fit eating 6 oz of this and 3 oz of that.
